    Good morning everyone,

Cloudy and chilly here today but dry.

Stew last night really hit the spot, no barley added in the end as I discovered I didn't actually have any. I added a handful of green lentils instead. It made a large panful so I'll portion and freeze it today. Definitely a brown dinner though as the veg had all pretty much broken down. I had it with some steamed Calvo Nero.

Tesco are due later and I've some voluntary and personal admin to do but apart from that and routine chores I've no plans.

Yesterday I also cooked a pot of veg and red lentil soup so lunch will be a bowl of that. Tonight it's spinach, pepper and tomato omelette with garlicky mushrooms, various veg and AF chips.

    Cold and grey again

Seeing Caron entry about soup, wish I'd made some, I've been meaning to make celery soup for a few days now, just never found my Roundtuit 😁

Lunch, open a tin of beans?

Dinner, use up. Bubble & squeak, defrosted YS sausages, fried eggs & any LO lunchtime beans

I'm making soup with leftover veg, carrots, potatoes, celery and I put in a tin of butter beans. I bought some sourdough bread yesterday so I will have that with the soup when it is ready. I was supposed to have a class tonight, but it isn't on. I will probably just finish my current book.

I’ve made soup too 😁 there was enough turkey to do dinner yesterday, a generous portion for curry tonight and 3 portions of broth (1 for lunch tomorrow and 2 for the freezer)

Today's lunch was leftovers from Saturday’s lentils and roast beetroot which I tossed together with a dressing, added some salad leaves and feta.
