At least it's not raining, just dull, grey & misty

Lunch, grilled cheese on stale bread toast
Dinner, TBD. If I can't think of anything have a frozen pizza that will do

    Good morning everyone,
Dry, bright and a tad milder here today.
Just enjoying a peaceful cuppa before I finish lunch prep. There's chicken & rice soup, cold chicken and ham, various cheeses and salad. DS1 & DIL are picking up some nice bread from there local bakery so no one should be hungry. Dinner is tbc possibly more of the soup.

I have a massage to go to. I had a toasted pitta with Flora, a hot chocolate, a lemon dessert pot and I’m having a cup of green tea. Bit of a weird combination.

I have run out of bananas so I can’t have a smoothie.

I have a class this evening. I might have a frozen pizza with added toppings beforehand.

Not very nice here either, wet and grey but thankfully still feeling a bit milder.

Just a couple of household chores on my “to do” list today. Lunch is similar to Farway but I used one of the YS english muffins I bought yesterday and threw some chopped up pickled jalapenos into the cheese.

Dinner is roast pork, some of the braised red cabbage I have stashed in the freezer and some cavolo nero.

A intermittent day weather wise 🙄 I had a voucher for half price breakfast at the local garden centre to use in January so my sister and I used it today, there was already a queue of oldies 5 minutes before they opened (I may be retired but I don't include myself 😁) This is the third or fourth year they've done it and it's always manic on the weekend but my sister works.  Lovely big breakfast with tea and toast for £5.49 each 😋 we picked up some cheap candles £1 instead of £5 on the way out I can't usually burn smelly candles but these were vanilla, ginger and cinnamon (not in one candle) which don't make me wheeze so I'm sorted for a while.

We came home via the furniture shop so my sister could look at sofas after a hour trying every one nothing was brought (she's sending my nephew back to test a couple) but I've also been tempted as mine is looking sad and was a hand me down over 5 years ago, I'm talking myself in to it!

    No lunch required 😁

scampi and chips with tinned sweetcorn for dinner

    Another grey & dull day

Have to get out in the garden though, I've DD dropping in tomorrow, and she will be collecting some plants I have for her, hence need to get them into poly bags & ready for transport

Lunch, LO cold cooked chicken sarnie. Maybe add some Mayo?
Dinner, LO root veg mash, use to make corned beef hash

    Good morning,
    Cloudy and chilly here today.
I had a lovely afternoon with the kids though unfortunately my sis couldn't make it in the end. Food was well received and big tub of the soup headed to Glasgow along with a couple of the lasagnes.  :)
I've physio at lunchtime, I'm not looking forward to it as I think it will be a sore one but know it's worth once the session aftermath settles. HM soup for lunch when I get back and tonight I'm trying this recipe
Sweet Potato Hash Recipe | The Mediterranean Dish  which we'll have with salad.

I didn't have pizza last night as I thought I am supposed to be eating healthier! I had marinated Quorn pieces in pesto with basmati rice and veggies and it was very nice.

I'm going to make that shredded/grated tofu recipe today. I need to go out and buy salad to go into the pitta bread.

I might have a hot chocolate as I am enjoying that. It seems quite warm and sunny today.

Another grey day, thick cloud and feels damp although no rain as yet.

More chores today, always happier when both the bathroom and kitchen are smelling lemony fresh and squeaky clean  :)

Carrots and swede needed using up and I remembered to soak the split peas overnight so lunch was a bowl of lovely thick yellow split pea soup.

I'm using up more of my freezer stock = a small portion of curry sauce, the last of the cooked prawns, half a naan and I’ll have salad alongside.

Another murky, cold, damp day here - haven’t left the house!

Scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toast for lunch. Just made chicken pilaf, served with broccoli (there were some peas in the pilaf too). There is LO pilaf but no chicken so will find something to pop in it for lunch tomorrow. Oh, I’ve decluttered some 🍷 too 😉
