Ooh, not had egg curry for years, might have to try the chickpea and egg one 😋

Also much milder here and glimpses of sunshine, wet this afternoon though.

Posh fishfinger sandwich for lunch. Prawn, green bean and baby sweetcorn Thai red curry with noodles tonight.

    Wet but warmer today.

The bedside lamps I brought didn't work, one did briefly then stopped I tried three bulbs so took them back today, I've ordered some different ones from Argos to pick up tomorrow.  Whilst I was parking in Sainsbury's as it's next to Dunelm I brought milk, fruit and veg to top up.

Put some Xmas presents away in my craft cupboard and spent the afternoon reorganising stuff in there as well as in the rest of the small bedroom.

LO chilli for lunch, I froze the rest.

beef and vegetable stirfry with noodles for dinner with a peanut butter/chilli sauce

dull, very wet & raining, dismal sums it up

Bummer with the lamps Brambling, at least just an inconvenience & not a drawn-out saga

I've a replacement chain link arriving for my roller blind today, with luck it will just click in and all will be well.
Or it may be too large and jam, in which case the chain needs relocating, which in turn needs a step ladder to get up. Fingers crossed

Lunch, use up some near date streaky, bacon butty
Dinner, Frozen RM stab & ping Butter Chicken

    Good morning everyone,
Fingers crossed for blind fixing Farway, glad you were able to return the lamps without hassle Brambling.
The spinach, chickpea and egg curry was lovely but the base mix made far more than two portions. With extra eggs and maybe some rice or bread could easily stretch to 3 or 4 hungry adults. There's LOs which DS2 has earmarked for his lunch.
Cold, wet and miserable here, one of those days you need a lamp on all day! Caught up on the voluntary admin yesterday so will tackle some extra chores today. Four x two person portions of lasagne are now residing in my freezer ready to go over coming weeks to Glasgow. A tub of the ragu will do us for spag bol tomorrow night.
HM veg soup for lunch. Trying this tonight Za’atar-Crusted Salmon Recipe | Salmon Recipes | Tesco Real Food I'll roast sweet potatoes and steam various veg to go with it.

I had a slice of toast before my class this morning and I was hungry when I got home. I was supposed to be making the curry, but I couldn't be bothered so I just had a mushroom carbonara ready meal from Asda. I added cooked frozen peas. I made too many peas so I might make soup one day this week. It is now heavy rain outside so I was lucky to miss getting caught in it.

Sounds exciting Caronc, getting close if you are stocking up the freezer  ;)

It’s a bit grey here today with some rain and a bitterly cold wind so expect quite a drop in temp again tonight. However I finally got to the hairdresser so I'm feeling much happier.

Lunch was more orange soup from the freezer, turned out to be carrot and coriander this time which was a nice surprise as I’d forgotten all about that one.

Dinner’s a bit beige as I fancied scampi so picked up a bag on the way home which I’ll have with AF chips and salad and a “pimped up mayo” dressing.

It's rained all day here  :/ I did try to visit EF at 11am and both the hospital and the swimming pool car parks were full and it was too wet to go further afield and walk. I was going to try again this afternoon but the hospital called when I got home after my failed attempt to say they were taking her to East Surrey about 45 mins away for fluids (It seems our cottage's hospital can't do it) it doesn't seem that she's back yet I'm hoping she will be tomorrow and that the trip hasn't disoriented her too much.

I did chop my veg lunchtime for soup then CBA to make it, it's covered and in the fridge for tomorrow I've also taken some chicken from the freezer so will make it chicken and vegetable soup instead.

I tackled some more reorganising of the small bedroom and was able to move some stuff from downstairs.

i was going to freeze two portions of chilli but decided as it was one and half portions I would have the half for lunch today and freeze the rest.

Burger (no bun) AF chips, fried onion and green beans for dinner.

New lamps picked up from Argos just before they closed at 8pm they are waiting for tomorrow to be unboxed.

I have only had a hot chocolate and some water as I'm probably eating out for lunch later. It is lovely and sunny compared to yesterday when it was raining all day!

    Good morning,
Dry but grey and decidedly chilly.
Yes  N2BT on the home straight now.
Couldn't get out of my own way yesterday so need to catch up with various bits today. It was one of those days where you put something down only to "lose" it lol! Hopefully I'll be more co-ordinated today.
HM soup for lunch and it's good old spag bol tonight which I've not had for ages and really looking forward to.

Like Brambling, it was raining all day yesterday, today is sunshine & blue sky, tomorrow, back to Yellow rain it seems, so have to enjoy today's brightness

Up to Morries first ting, bread & salad bits, plus mooch & give the car a battery top up run while it's sat doing nothing and slowly discharging

Lunch, BLT now I have bread & L
Dinner, not sure, I had hoped to spot something in Morries, but nothing really promising. I have pizza in the freezer so maybe that?

I spotted these in Morries. only 11 weeks & 4 days to go  :D
