    Good morning everyone,
Showery but not as cold today. I don't know if it was the flu jab on Thursday but I struggled to get warm all day yesterday. I'm feeling much less chilly today.
We are, for separate reasons, pooch sitting both Frank & Ari overnight. I need to do a fair bit of meat and fish portioning so plan to shut myself in the kitchen and bar the "helpers" lol! Frank will be most disappointed....
Cooked a couple of small salmon tails from the freezer last night and only ate one so salmon and cottage cheese salad for lunch. Tonight it's a mini burger using up the last of the pork meatballs with salad and AF chips.

Very dark and grey here today, the flood warning is no longer in force but there is a lot of shingle and seaweed along the prom which had been thrown over the sea wall at high tide in the early hours of the morning.

I made some cheese scones and sausage rolls this morning and I’m thinking that whilst they are still hot I will have a sausage roll with some baked beans for lunch and for dinner tonight I’ll have another portion of the soup I made yesterday with a cheese scone.

Lazy day after a long week battling lurgy, it does seem to have pretty much gone now but tiredness and grey days don’t help my motivation. I’ve done some tidying, a load of washing, small grocery shop and a tiny bit of Christmas organising.

Quiche, baked beans and bread and butter for lunch. Tapas bits while watching strictly tonight 💃🏽🍷

Another wet day, my sister hasn't had good weather this week.

Lunch out today, the farm which makes Sussex charmer cheese has a cafe which does fabulous cheese on toast (and cake)

Pan fried sea bass with new potatoes and green veg for dinner with salsa verde

Hope your knee is starting to mend Farway.

Another overcast day here with some heavy rain arriving later. Rather than pile up washing waiting for a fine day I did a small wash earlier and put it on the heated airer.

Prawn cocktail salad with granary bread for lunch.

Defrosting some turkey mince to make meatballs for dinner tonight, I haven't yet decided on the flavouring I’m going to add but will definitely include cumin as I made a mistake in my last online order and ended up with a 400g pack  :D

Easing a bit, thanks, still hurts, but had a better night's sleep. At least with this weather I'm not missing much by keeping in doors

Maybe the jab, I was the same, I went back to shivery a few days later as well

More picking at the LO chicken for meals today, with my knee and standing.
I was thinking of making a chicken curry, using jar curry, but I've gone off that idea

    Lunch, chicken carcass pickings
Dinner, chicken + LO stuffing & AF frozen chips

I had my usual toast, Flora and vegemite and my advent calendar choccie.

I have to use up whatever veg I have left in the fridge today. I might have to blanch cook it and freeze some of it.

    Good afternoon everyone,
Late on parade today, my dropped  by for "5 mins" to pick up Ari and ended up staying over a cuppa for well over an hour so I'm running behind myself a bit.
It's absolutely tipping it down here so glad of the Ovo free heating hour and happy to have a day pottering in the house. Prepped 75 pigs in blankets yesterday but still need to portion and vac pack the salmon and pork.
Greek style scrambled eggs with oregano, courgette, red pepper, mushrooms, tomatoes and spring onions for lunch. Turkey and veg soup tonight for dinner.

Rain stopped at last, it was non-stop yesterday, not that it made any difference to me, because I was reclining and resting my wonky knee
The knee is on the mend, still a problem, so I'm hobbling about it is improving, which I'm happy about

Made the banana bread at last, smells good and now cooling for lunchtime taster

Lunch, use up eggs omelette + sample the banana bread
Dinner, use up before OOD, Asda RM All Day Breakfast.                                                                                          The BBE date has come up fast, so rather than freeze it I thought I'd try it, never had one before and not expecting  too much but could be a handy standby
