Asda delivery first thing, he arrived earlier than booked, so I was unprepared, no bags to hand sort of thing.I checked the BBE dates on the fish and had to send them back, only two days life left and I wanted to portion up the salmon & freeze, but don't want to find life limited once defrosted.Rest was OK, and fridge back to fullLunch, unsure, but two days old HM bread will be part of itDinner, more indecision, probably a chilled RM MFO, the veg lasagna is quite tastyWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray1

Good morning everyone,
Chilly with heavy showers here though supposed to dry up as the day goes on. I hope so as I'm off out tonight to a choir Christmas concert. My sis is a member so I'm going with DS1 and my nephew. DIL is on a work's night out and DS2 is looking after the pooches. It will be an early dinner for us and I made the base for JO's gingery garlicky mince yesterday using Quorn mince for a change. Lunch will HM soup from the freezer.2 -
It is glorious and sunny today. It is so nice being so mild for this time of year, well, where I live anyway! It is meant to be raining next week while I'm in Brighton, typically.
I just had a bath and some pink grapefruit juice and I need to clean out my kitchen cupboards. I am going to have a toastie beforehand. I fancy stodge so I am having mash, veg and gravy later so I will have something from the freezer with it.1 -
I’m feeling much better today and took a trip to tesco for some fruit and veg.
Picked up some croissants too and had one for lunch with cheese, lettuce & tomato.
Defrosting a portion of gammon & leek pie for dinner tonight and I’ll do some mashed swede and brussels to go with it.

It was dry and sunny most of the day, my sister wanted to go to Arundel unfortunately I forgot the castle closes this time of year. She was happy to browse although she won't let me browse too long in their big second hand book shop.We had a cuppa and cake late morning so skipped lunch, I had a very large piece of raspberry flapjack so very filling.
I had LO turkey and ham pie and veg for dinner, my sister had quiche, salad and chips before I beat her at scrabble (3 games 😁) before his lordship decided to investigateLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin1 -
More rain, very dull & dank again, luckily I did manage a minor bit of gardening in yesterday's sun, so nothing pressing to go outside for. With the weather, I've got the chicken in to roast, with very cheapo packet sage dust stuffing
and made an overnight loaf in the BMLunch, has to be chicken & stuffing sarnie doesn't it?Dinner, more chick & stuffing, may go with full on roast, cooked veg etc or lazy salad, have to see how I feel laterWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray0 -
Good morning everyone,
Raining on and off and really quite cold here this morning. I have a flu jab appointment at lunchtime so I'm hoping the rain stays off while I'm out. The choir concert was good last night though the church it being held in was on the decidedly chilly side so I was glad to get home to warm up! My poor nephew didn't arrive until mid-way through the second half after the train he raced from work to catch was cancelled and the one he got on half an hour later got stuck behind a broken down goods train in the middle of nowhere.
LOs for lunch and tonight it's a tweaked version of JO's sausage pasta which we'll have with a chopped salad.1 -
It is raining today and I have to go out later, but it might brighten up. I'm going out for a pizza about 5 so I won't have anything too filling during the day. I forgot to order bananas in the shopping so I can't have a smoothie. I might have toast and tea now and skip lunch.1

Today’s full moon has created a big swell in the sea, there is some slight overtopping along the seafront but nothing too concerning.
L - Cheese and onion toastie followed by some fruit.
D - Chilli con carne with a baked potato and side salad.

Seem to have been MIA, lurgy still lingering on so some early nights meant I forgot to post I think 🤔
Tuesday was posh fishfinger sandwich for lunch and chicken and chorizo jambalaya with green beans for tea. Two more portions of cooked chicken went in the freezer.
Yesterday lunch was jacket spud with cheese and tuna & sweetcorn topping, side salad. Out for tea last night 😋
Long meeting in the office today so popped out for a short walk at lunchtime and got a supermarket feta and sun dried tomato pasta salad plus a pot of mango. LO jambalaya tonight with the end of the green beans and some peas.
Really need to eat from the freezer a bit more now!1
