Good morning everyone,
I'm glad Benjamin wasn't too brutal. Sunny here just now but rain is forecast for later.
The book looks interesting Brambling but I've only had a quick skim through as it was mid evening when it arrived.
I'm just waiting for my sis to arrive to collect Ari who was staying over last night. He has stayed over for a while so him and Hector have very playful.
Tesco due late with no subs or OOS.
More of the HM soup for lunch and then I'll freeze any still left. Dinner is tbc though I'm thinking possibly braised steak with mushrooms, peppers and onions as I've ordered one of the beef medallion steaks which are best either cooked very hot and fast or braised. I'll see how the time goes and decide from there.1 -
Wind has gone, now back to blue sky, but colder, the heating came on this morning, so the temperature must have droppedDespite the colder weather, I've just picked more outdoor toms, I thought I'd finished with them, but still going for now.Lunch, more of the ham in a sarnie, with pickle this timeDinner, try again for ham salad + new spudsNumerus non sum1

I meant to say that the plumber fixed the pipe in two seconds and didn't charge us either. He is giving us a quote for another job and will get back to us. My friend recommended him and I feel that is often better than going on Checkatrade.
It is quite windy outside as I just popped to the shop. Lovely and bright and sunny though.
I decided not to eat lunch out so I had toast with Flora and the last veggie sausage roll I bought at the fayre. I might have some cheeky chips tonight as there is a nice chip shop near the Airbnb. I might make a smoothie before I leave.1 -
Cold, wet and windy here. I woke up with a thumping headache which is probably a side effect of yesterday’s vaccines so having a restful day cozied up in front of the tv.
Something easy for lunch requiring no cooking = mini pork pies and assorted pickles.
Not sure what I want for dinner, I don't really feel like cooking so it will probably be something snacky.

Lovely sunny day here but much colder, did get a load of towels nearly completely dry on the line 🙌
Good catch up wfh day, had a meeting postponed this afternoon so even better 😉
Tuna melt wrap and salad for lunch. Pork escalope, chips and salad tonight - pork and chips LO from a meal deal cheat tea, trying to clear stuff from the freezer and fancied an easy evening.

I met friends in Chichester today, we were lucky as it was a lovely day. They brought their 5 month old golden retriever puppy 😍 he was so lovely and very well behaved when we had lunch. I offered to swap with his lordship but for some reason they weren't keen on a grumpy 12 year old tabby
TBH my friend is scared of cats and they have always had big dogs 🤷♀️
pub lunch so just a bowl of soup from the freezer for a late dinnerLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin1
