I had an appointment this morning and I had a banana before I left. I came home to have a cheese and salad roll before I left for my haircut appointment. I'm quite tired from walking around again. It is quite muggy today.

Weather was a bit intermittent we had heavy rain just before noon which turned into a sunny and quite warm afternoon and evening.

I did some gardening spread over the day in small doses I managed to fill my garden wheelie bin and put it out this evening.

According to my hospital list I need some slippers which are not mules/ backless so decided between gardening whilst it was raining to go to Tesco to see if there was anything in their 25% off clothes sales at the same time, there wasn't but I did get the slippers and some half price socks.  I heard an assistant tell some take the top home in three sizes, your usual size and the one either side and bring back the ones which don't fit!!  I didn't buy any food.

Late lunch of sardines on toast.  I was going to make the hairy bikers sausage casserole but after finishing filling the garden bin and chatting to my neighbour I didn't want to stand and cook as it was after 7.30pm. I AF the sausages and pinged LO mash and green veg, they were Sainsbury's taste the difference pork and apple sausages brought on offer when half price and frozen they were very tasty 😋 and cold for sandwiches

Scrambled egg and avocado on toasted bagel for lunch. Got out for 20 minutes in my lunch break and it was warm and sunny. Bought apples that I needed and resisted YS chorizo arancini (that I didn’t need 😂).

Swimming after work and then made sausage and spinach gnocchi 😋

Kitchen cleared up, washing up done, and caught up with the final of race across the world, been a great series.

I had a bowl of grapes and toast with Flora and Marmite. It feels very hot already. I have a concert in London tonight and then I'm going to Brighton for the weekend.

    Good afternoon,
Grey and showery here but very muggy.
For various reasons I have a massive voluntary work to do list so I know what I'll be doing until I head off on holiday next week!
Tesco due later no subs or OOS. Depending on how the admin goes I may or may not do some housework but I suspect apart from routine stuff that won't happen.
Eggs for lunch I'm swithering between scrambled or egg mayo. Usual Friday tbc for dinner.

Definitely the warmest day this year for us thankfully there's a moderate breeze making it much more comfortable for me.

Took a trip to the next town to meet a friend for coffee, then back home for another salad with watermelon, feta and black olives.

Tonight an easy throw together of chicken, veg, pesto & pasta, I'll be generous with the quantities so there's leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Very warm and sunny here. Luckily my home work space stays nice and cool.

Posh fishfinger sandwich for lunch. Prawn and green bean Thai red curry with noodles tonight.

Glad it’s the weekend, has been a long week.

It's been hot here and after raining at 8pm it's muggy now, we had a flash of lightening but no thunder

i went out to lunch with some ex work colleagues, my old manager retired at the end of May, really nice meal at the golf course near the old office tasted better as the senior manager paid 😋

I didn't need dinner as it was a big portion lunchtime so just picked at  a couple of cold sausages

Cold wind early on, but sun is coming out now & set fair for the day, hope so 'cos salad is planned.

May pick a few stalks of my "shouldn't be picked" yet rhubarb, it's new this year but very vigorous so a few sticks just to taste  ;)

    Lunch, cheese toastie
Dinner, grilled gammon steak, new spuds & salad
