I had a late start today, and my PC won't connect to the internet.
This happened before in March & bought a replacement. Then the old one fixed itself so I never really changed over
Now I have to change, searching for passwords & login details is taking some time.Pain in the bum, but it has to be doneLunch, same as yesterday, pate on burnt toastDinner, pan fried salmon fillet, never used yesterday. I'm feeling better as I'm up and dressed today although I still have a cough. I had some buttered toast and a peach. I have leftover rice and garden peas in the fridge so I might make a tofu or Quorn stir fry later.0

Bit overcast here but breezy and the odd spot of rain late afternoon. Got a load of washing mostly dry on the line early afternoon 🙃
More toast with smoked mackerel pate for lunch today (this pate was LO from a family gathering yesterday). Had some cherry tomatoes alongside.
Chicken fajitas tonight. Got some YS tzatziki when I went for chicken so that made it nice and easy. Also got a pot of mozzarella pearls and semi dried tomatoes for 75p 😋0 -
Glad you're feeling a little better Wednesday
I hope the PC is all sorted Farway?
I only went as far as Lidl today as I wanted some potatoes for mash, I had a voucher for £5 off when you spend £25 which ran out today. I hadn't planned to spend £25 so stocked up on store cupboard stuff, counting it up in my head to make sure I got to the £25, I also had a 50p voucher on their nice jam so treated myself to a pot of blackcurrant. Definitely frightening how £25 worth of groceries can easy fit in one bag even in Lidl!
Last of the falafels and flat bread for lunch with salad.
lamb liver from the freezer with mash potatoes, purple sprouting broccoli and fried onions for dinner.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Mmm, now I fancy jam Brambling. I think I only have marmalade. I feel so much better and my Covid test was negative so I am able to go out this week. I might go and buy some bread from the bakery and maybe some jam.2025 GOALS

Good morning everyone,
Glad you are feeling better Wednesday.
After a very wet day yesterday it's glorious sunshine this morning. The forecast is decent for the next two days so I hope to make a good dent in the potting on!
Physio was tough yesterday but for once I'm not feeling too sore the day after though I'm quite bruised, I'm hoping it stays that way.
We both really enjoyed the lemony chicken bake, I did wonder if the lemon might be over powering at it used zest and 6 tablespoons of juice but it was just right. Definitely on the make again list.
Fridge bits for lunch and tonight my sister and nephew are coming for dinner. I'm making this Cheeseburger Casserole (Homemade Hamburger Helper) - RecipeTin Eats and cooked the beef/veg base yesterday. I may well cook the pasta separately and just bring it all together when they arrive just for ease of timing. We'll have it with salad and crusty bread.1 -
Dull, mild with a bit of wind.My PC is back to Normal.I had search about likely causes, first time I've used AI search, which was amazing to me, summed up the likely faults & remedies for me, without me having to open a squillion links and articles. It was the Network card requiring Resetting, which meant nothing to me, I just followed instructions, and it worked, with no idea how it went wonky in the first place. Magic!Lunch, grilled cheese on toastDinner, Salad of some sort, maybe frozen pizzaEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze here, great for getting the bedding washed and dried this morning.
Online delivery arrived all present and correct, spoiled for choice now but decided to use what I had already before I start on the new stuff.
Lunch is prawns and pasta salad.
Tonight steak and vegetable stir-fry.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Out and about today. Felt like I needed a jumper when I went out at 7.30 but braved just a jacket, turned into a lovely afternoon, and the office was the usual mix of too hot and then too cold 🙃
Roasted veg and mozzarella couscous in my lunchbox. Have just had harissa prawn and courgette orzo, another portion will be going in the freezer.0 -
Gray start to the day but it also turned nice this afternoon .
i opened the door to call His Lordship in just after 8.30pm tonight and Not My Cat appeared out of nowhere chasing a small bird into my open front door, I'm afraid I slam the door and caught he poor thing. When I opened the door it had fallen on to the door mat and was grabbed my the cat 🫣 poor thing no blood but I think shock killed it. I'm feeling guilty because im slightly relieved as my hip isn't up to chasing a bird flying around the house. His Lordship appeared just afterwards wandering up the path, he did spend awhile sniffing the doormat I'm I shook the dreamies!
Pork and apple burger for lunch, wrapped in lettuce rather than in a bun. Steak and chips for dinner with purple sprouting and french beans with salsa verde over the topLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0
