Decidedly cooler again today but still bright and no sign of rain. Didn’t need the heating on, I expect I’m going to need it later in the week…

I’d roasted some sweet potato with cumin and pul biber yesterday so had that with couscous and feta for lunch. LO jambalaya tonight, just a quick reheat after swimming.

It was raining here earlier. My dog woke up with a limp so I had to make a vet appointment. I have had a yoghurt so far today as I slept in late.

    Good morning everyone,
    Glad lurgy has passed Farway
Brambling, legs and 1/2 legs of lamb are now of offer at Tesco.
Sunshine and blustery showers here today.
Nothing much planned apart from some chores. Ari goes home this evening so will wait until tomorrow to hoover and mop through. I've my Easter Sunday menu sorted out. Nothing too onerous but for once I'm making dessert St Émilion au Chocolat – Phil's Home Kitchen though will need to make the macaroons as can only find soft amaretti biscuits locally.
Fridge bits for lunch and Chicken Shawarma with Greek pita, salad and sweet potatoes for dinner.

Thanks Caronc although when I went out lunchtime to look they had no lamb joints either leg or shoulder ithink they only had half shoulders last week. I may go out and check on Thursday as it seems strange they don't have any.  I did buy some cheap veg and a half price small HS gammon and sirloin steak.  I adjusted the ordering e for Thursday night to remove the vegetables it has free delivery so I may not cancel🤔 no smoked hummus either!

I brought a tiger loaf so late lunch of cheese and coleslaw with a couple of slices of bread,p.

Breaded cod and chips with LO green veg for dinner

Dull & a bit windy, ideal for just looking out the window.

Lunch, obvious, is a LO cold lamb sarnie, but I fancy a sausage sarnie and may have that instead
Dinner, cold LO roast lamb, with AF frozen chips
