Now I'm  wishing I hadn't put the smoked hummus back on the shelf, I added to the shopping for Easter

Volunteering at Petworth today, it was another lovely sunny day after a threat of rain so although the grounds were busy inside was relatively quiet especially for school holidays.  I'm not complaining and I found time to read 😁

I took a ham and cheese roll for lunch.  A easy dinner of mushroom omelette, chips and salad

Sunny morning, with a splash of overnight rain & supposedly some more on the way, needs it, not had any for a fortnight.

I'm out to lunch today, a birthday treat from DD [ birthday was last Tuesday]. Going to try a newly opened place, has good reviews from what I've read.
Nothing super posh, but not burger & chips either
Smoked Hummus will not be eaten, not by me anyway. ;)

Depending on lunchtime food, I may copy Brambling with mushroom omelette later

    Good afternoon everyone,
Belated Happy Birthday Farway, hope you enjoy your lunch with DD.
Wedding went well yesterday and the weather held though it's showery today. DS2 is just getting organised to head to the after party for a couple of hours.
Had a play with my air fryer yesterday and made a Yorkshire Pudding in the smaller drawer. It worked really well and it's in the fridge to get used tomorrow.

Goodness hummus yesterday and omelette today! I'm having a mushroom, onion and tomato one for lunch with some salad. HM burgers tonight with air fryer wedges, fridge gravel slaw and corn cobette.

    Happy Belated Birthday Farway.

I just had a quick sandwich when I got up. It looks like a lovely day today.

Belated birthday wishes Farway, so nice to be treated to a meal out.

I opted for Aldi's caramelised onion hummus and tried freezing half of it to see how it fares but will give the smoked a go next time, thanks for the recommendations.

Cooler temp today and rain arrived sooner than expected but I've been busy hoovering and mopping - both kitchen and bathroom floors done, I'll move on to the bedroom soon.

Lunch was a portion of soup from the freezer and tonight I've got some salmon and rice leftovers so I'll add some extra veg and stir fry the lot.

Cooler here today but still no sign of the rain. Bit of a domestic day today and a bit more unpacking.

Jacket potato with cheese and beans for lunch. Chinese style pork belly slices with noodles and stir fried veg tonight. LO pork will feature later in the week…

Yorkshire pudding looks good Caronc 😋

No rain but an overcast day, just some housework this morning.

    Salmon salad for lunch.

My sister came around for dinner and to 'help!' put a cupboard together for the spare bedroom. Dinner was lamb shanks, purple sprouting, french and runner beans, new potatoes and roasted sweet potatoes.  I made an apple and blackberry and a rhubarb and strawberry crumble we had some of the rhubarb and strawberry crumble and I sent her back with three quarters of the blackberry and apple for my nephew and his family.

The cupboard beat us for now!  she did most of it when I finish cooking but a early mistake meant we couldn't get the door on  :s we will revisit, she reckons it wouldn't need completely dismantling to fix.

Mixed weather this morning, cooler & cloudy with sun trying hard, looks nice out though with all the blossom.

For some reason I'm feeling a bit shivery & meh this morning, hope nothing is creeping up on me. DS had “something” cold like as well, but I've not been near him so can't have caught from him.
No doubt a steady day will fix it.

Lunch, cheese & sliced onion sandwich
Dinner, use up all the salad bits with a mushroom omelette

    Good morning everyone,
Hope it's just a passing lurgy Farway.
Chilly and overcast today though dry just now but it's to rain this afternoon. DS2 is walking the pooches before it turns wet. Wedding after party went well, DS2 is on holiday this week so looking forward to a quite day. After a weekend of rich food I've promised a simple roast chook dinner with loads of veg (and the air fried YP).
Egg and tomato salad for lunch.

I had a yoghurt and then a roll with Flora and Marmite.

I have a Mexican style ready to eat salad for lunch as I bought three of them on offer. I want to have some ice cream afterwards as the weather is still quite Springlike here. I have some fresh melon slices too.

I'm not sure about dinner yet.
