It is a gorgeous day today. I have costochondritis again so I had to walk to the pharmacy to buy some freeze spray. I walked to a charity shop to look around afterwards as the weather is so nice.

I had cream cheese on a wholemeal roll before I left with a cup of green tea and I'm just having another cup. I'm going to make a salad as I have some kalamata olives but not sure what I'm having it with yet.

Frosty start here too but pleasantly warm in the sunshine.

Decided yesterday I really fancied soup for lunch only to discover I'd ran out of HM soup in the freezer and didn't fancy tinned tomato from the cupboard. Cue what turned out to be a surprisingly tasty bung together of a small portion of cauli cheese, stock, peas, broad beans, spring onions and garlic seasoning. There's enough LO for lunch today.
I love those kind of soups as well Caronc, sad thing is you can never really replicate them

I had a portion of the soup I made yesterday for my lunch and 3 portions went into the freezer.

Burger and chips tonight - it's just one of those days when nothing else will do   ;)

Milky sunshine, but warmer, hoping to get a bit of gardening done, not strenuous because my back is a bit twinging, so take it easy really.

For a treat I had fry up breakfast, sausages & eggs, just fancied them for a change.
Lunch, corned beef & pickle sandwich
Dinner, rinse & repeat of yesterday, last pork loin chop, with boiled new spuds & salad bits

    Good morning everyone,
There was a heavy frost this morning and despite the sunshine there are still a good few icy patches. It will be lovely in the conservatory though when my friend comes for lunch. I made the soup yesterday so just need to sort out some sandwiches to have with it.
Broccoli, spinach and pesto pasta tonight.

Tonight I'll have roast asparagus wrapped in parma ham, topped with a poached egg and a slice of toast on the side.

Council tax bill arrived today  :# at least it has only gone up 5% my elderly friend called in a panic as she missed read it, her eye sight is bad at the moment and thought it was going up a lot more she was allowing for the 25% lower down the form

Went out to pick up my prescription and met a neighbour at the bottom of my path, her cockapoo volunteers at a couple of local schools and they were on the way back.  He's read to at the local primary school and is used as a calming presence for children with anxiety at the local senior school. He's 10 now so not as manic as he was, he seemed to have a long adolescence 😀 my the time I left i ran into the school runs.  The chemist temporarily lost my meds she was fifteen minutes checking out back when someone had put them under the counter, I wasn't in a rush and the shop was empty so it was interesting to listening to the conversations as they searched. I had had a text to say it was ready🙃. Then home via the pet shop to use a voucher, his lordship is all stocked up until May now.

Falafels in a wrap with salad for lunch.  Pork chop mini roast for dinner

Cream cheese sandwich for lunch, halloumi salad for dinner.

Heads up, I got my final Gousto box (not going to get them any more) and the boxes for one still have almost everything in quantities for two even at the one person prices. Worth it as a treat I reckon.
