Sun is just starting to come out after a dull start, nice & mild though, not as mild as DD, she has just landed in Malta for a week's break

Had a small win on P Bonds, which is good, pays for the plants I sent for during the week. Easy come, easy go!

Lunch, sausage sarnie, using the posh ones I bought yesterday
Dinner, shop posh burger + salad

Wednesday I self referred to the NHS physio on line bypassing the GP but I did have a diagnosis after a X-ray, as their was a long NHS wait they sent me to a private physio under the nhs.
Oh right, I will have to see what my local GP does. I can afford to pay private, but I may as well see what there is locally on the NHS. I just checked and there is a self-referral for physio. I will do that now!

    Good morning everyone,
Back to dull and damp this morning.
I opted to go private for physio as I was looking at a 18+ week wait and the NHS doesn't really do "maintenance" for folk like me. The NHS physios were absolutely superb though when they worked in tandem with the vestibular rehab team in helping me to move about relatively safely and work out what aids were best for me. I'm not one for manicures or facials etc. so my 4 weekly session is my "for me" spend and worth every penny.
Apart from my Tesco delivery later not much planned for today.
Cheese and salad for lunch. Usual Friday tbc for dinner.

I tried the GetUbetter app and then the NHS app and it kept sending me around in circles so I just did an Econsult for  my GP instead. I will see what they come back with. If there is a very long wait I will just find someone near me.

I haven't even eaten anything yet. I was going to have a ready made lasagne and salad for lunch so I will change that to brunch.

Started off overcast here too but turned out lovely this afternoon, making the admin/finance tasks I had to do a bit less depressing.

Lunch was a bagel with cottage cheese, pickles and salad.
Tonight an easy hm scone based pizza with shop bought pasta sauce, salami and cheese.

I think I referred via the county's MSK team which had a questionnaire.  Hopefully you'll get it sorted.

That was what I thought when I paid to see a osteopath before I had my diagnosis and I did benefit from him working on tight muscles protecting my hip, in fact I'm tempted to go back for a couple of sessions as I know my muscles are tight again, Ijust don't want him to fix the muscles and upset the joint

volunteering day in town and tonight a family birthday dinner for my nephews partner, just a Chinese takeaway, easier with the little one.

Sunny & mild, with the spring flowers it's all looking very cheerful now.

Freezer rummage produced large pork chunk, from Oct 2023 :o Now defrosting for cooking tomorrow.
I'd like to roast it, for crackling etc, but it may have freezer burn so will have to wait & see.

Lunch, last of the posh shop beef burgers
Dinner, more pork, grilled pork loin chop, probably with salad bits

It looks like another lovely bright and sunny day. It is so nice not to be wearing multiple layers at home! I am going to get my hair cut this afternoon. I am going to have a smoothie and a sandwich before I go out.

    Good morning everyone,
Trying to be sunny and it's much milder. I'm making the most of warmer weather to give the house a good airing.
DS2 is off to meet up with DS1 and DIL2B to head to a noodles and dumplings place for a late lunch and then a couple of  beers so I'm probably CFO tonight depending on when he returns. I've a bag of parsnips needing used up so I'm thinking dinner might be spicy parsnip soup with a toastie. Bacon and mushrooms on toast for lunch.
