Frosty and sunny start, looking like the promised better weather is here at last, just need to warm up a bit now

Lucky you in raffle Brambling, maybe it's me, but I rarely see raffles these days, not that I was ever a big winner., unlike my brother who won two cars!

    Meals today,
Lunch, last of the fatty mince in a burger
Diner, healthy return, fresh salmon fillet + salad bits

I just had a nurse appointment and she checked my chest, but she thinks it is just sinusitis and I picked up the nasal spray on the way home. I didn't have breakfast so I had a veggie sausage toastie when I got home. It is quite bright and sunny at the moment.

Another very cold frosty start although there's lovely clear skies and sunshine now.

After all the walking I did yesterday I feel in need of a lazy day today so food wise it's all RM's from the freezer.

Lunch is a chunk of the tuna bake I made a couple of weeks ago with a rocket and tomato salad on the side.
Tonight it's a large portion of stovies - lazy comfort food at its best   B)

Frosty start to the day but the windscreen had defrosted by the time I left to go volunteering, from the office windows it looked a lovely day with blue skies 🙂

Ham, cheese watercress salad for lunch.  Last of the turkey soup for dinner the rest was frozen.

Thankfully no frost this morning but still a bit chilly out there.

Had bananas that needed using so made Mary Berry's banana loaf cake this morning, kitchen smells lovely.

Ordered some chunky cod fingers in my last online shop and decided to have a fish finger sandwich for lunch, surprised how large the fingers are, they must be twice the size of captain birdseye's so I'm feeling rather full right now.

Defrosting a portion of cheese sauce for tonight cant quite decide on macaroni cheese/cauli cheese or a combination of the two.

Frosty but sunny & blue sky. Warm in the sun, as it should be on First of March.

DS came over and sorted out the dishwasher drain pipe, we had to pop into Wickes' 'cos I'd bought an incorrect diameter pipe so needed the correct size, luckily we now had one of the old fittings so were able to check for fit first.
May have cost me price of pipe, & fittings, £8 50, but far better than a new dishwasher.
Now back to normal with a working dishwasher :)

Lunch was cheese & pickle sarnie
Dinner, fresh salmon fillet, fried in EVO & butter, with shop bought coleslaw, potato salad & other salad bits.

Slight frost this morning again but it had cleared by the time I left to go to Petworth and lovely blue skies all day, typical volunteering when we had good weather 🙂

smoke salmon and cream cheese bagel for lunch. My sister came to dinner and is staying tonight, letting my nephews friends sleep in her bed not the floor.  Salmon, French beans, tenderstem broccoli, sticky rice and chilli sauce for dinner with key lime pie for pudding.  A double salmon day but both YS and shopped from my freezer 🙂

More blue sky, sunshine & sharp overnight frost.
It was warm in the sun yesterday, but only if in the sun, darn cold otherwise

No real idea for meals today, easy options I suspect

    Lunch, sandwich of some sort
Dinner, use up mushrooms omelette + use up salad bits?

Great news about dishwasher cost Farway, handy having family who can do that for you rather than having to pay a call out charge before any parts or work gets done.

Another frosty start but lovely sunshine now, nice breeze too so washing out on the line.

Leftover macaroni cheese for lunch with a tomato salad.

Roast chicken thigh tonight with some roasted cauliflower and green beans to add a bit of colour to the plate.
