Still grey and windy here but looking forward to temp picking up a bit tomorrow.

I made what I thought was a smallish pot of soup this morning with veg, beans and quinoa. I must have been a bit too generous with the quinoa as it's tending towards more of a porridge than a soup  :D

Mince & potatoes, mealie pudding and green veg tonight.

I realised this morning that I didn't have a new tube of toothpaste 🙄 so wrote a small list and went to Sainsburys. I brought a small but heavy frying pan half prize as I'm fed up with my small pan which I tend to use for eggs burning and sticking everything.  I also picked up a pair of slippers by list from the hospital says slippers but they have to have backs which mine don't.  A cheap pair as I probably won't wear for long.  I also picked up a cauliflower they had some nice ones for £1.19

I picked up some nice rolls so a cheese and coleslaw roll for lunch.  LO spaghetti bolognese for dinner.

Drizzly, dull but milder than of late.

My large non-stick pan went non-stick and is a burnt disgrace. :s
It's destined for the bin, but hard to dispose off without a special trip to the tip, which Is a PIA having to book first just to bin a ruined frying pan.
A bit too large to sneak in the wheelie bin rubbish, so it lurks in a kitchen cupboard for the time being

    Lunch, salad sandwich
Dinner, repeat of yesterday, LO YS cod in crumbs, AFd oven chips + frozen peas

    Good afternoon everyone,
Milder but manky here today with torrential rain and strong wind.
A domestic afternoon is planned as Hector is going to the groomers so I'll get peace to hoover and mop through.
Turkey and rice soup from the freezer for lunch. JO's garlicky, gingery black bean mince for dinner.

Bit of a mixed bag weather-wise, much warmer but very windy and occasional sunshine/showers so all I've done outside was a quick walk to post a letter and take the long way home round the bay - still loads of big rollers and white water out there.

Using up the last of the "porridge like" soup for lunch, I didn't want to water it down any more because a) taste would have been affected and b) didn't want to eat it for another day  :D

Spinach & ricotta tortellini with hm mushroom sauce and garlic bread tonight.

I had a slice of toast with Flora and Marmite and a smoothie. I'm making a lentil, carrot and celery soup which I will have with a roll. It is rainy here.

It's been miserable and wet all day but alot warmer!

My sister and I went to the art shop where she stocked up on some art stuff for work, they have a good seconds corner. Then on to the 'big' M&S where we had some lunch before I helped her spend her money, I did buy a jacket but she brought a little more 😳 I had some smart vouchers which were no good for me but did save her £16.

we quick popped into Next to look at sofas and grab a cuppa before a wet drive home

i had a quick turn around as I went to the NT on screen showing of the Importance of being Ernest with a friend, it was starting the actor who plays the new Doctor Who and was a little camp but very funny and very good.

M&S Mac n cheese with garlic bread for lunch and we shared a spiced bun 😋 ham sandwich with salad for dinner

Drizzle to start, but brightening up and much milder now, plus my daffs are starting to open as well, feels like this could be Spring!

Finalising my Asda list for next week delivery, the posh loo roll price drop has vanished already :( , just as I was getting ready to treat myself

    Lunch, another salad sarnie
Dinner, posh rump steak, with grilled mushrooms & fried eggs. It's a thick steak, on offer, so I anticipate that will be plenty for a meal.

I had a handful of pumpkin seeds and I am about to have a banana, peanut butter, milk smoothie after I use my trampoline for a while.

I have leftover homemade soup for lunch when I get some nice bakery bread to go with it. I'm comparing the local bakery to the bakery near my classes in terms of price and taste. Very MSE of me. :D
