That's just as I did, less coconut milk, and likewise, 12 minutes plus waiting for pressure drop. Very successful, but I made way too much, so it will crop up over the next few days, formed this morning's breakfast for instance. :)

I like cold rice pudding straight from the fridge 😋

Went into town this morning to meet a friend we had a cuppa and a cinnamon bun in the Swedish cafe for a couple of hours, it was unpleasant weather outside

I didn't eat lunch and had a really lazy dinner of guacamole, taramasalata, hummus with chips and raw veggies and some fruit

A quick visit, going over to DS shortly, just to catch up & probably finish up in GC with a café & a scone

Lunch will be the cuppa & scone
Dinner, TBD when I get back, something from the freezer I suspect

    Good morning everyone,
Enjoy your catch up with your DS Farway.
Another cold and grey one here.
Yesterday DS1 and DIL2B took Hector for a 2+ hour walk/ mad run around with Frank, he's completely shattered today so won't miss a walk until DS2 returns tomorrow. I'd be really surprised if he'll even be interested in chasing a ball in the garden but I'll see if he's livelier later.
I made a good start on the kitchen cupboard declutter but think I might need to order more storage boxes. At the back of one shelf I found some 1980/90s ceramic terrine dishes which I was sure I had disposed of years ago. DIL2B liked one of them so that has found a new home and the others will go to a charity shop. I've also had a cull of the recycled plastic butter etc. tubs that I use for portioning food for the freezer. Todays challenge is the bottle and jar shelf and the random bits one!
Last night I ended up having a portion of the pulled braised beef mixed with linguine. Very good it was too. :) The remaining portion has been popped in the freezer. Rinse and repeat for lunch today of cottage cheese on toast with a mug of soup. Tonight I'm having haggis stuffed pork fillet with cauliflower cheese, green beans and potatoes.

It was freezing here on Friday and London was even colder. The afternoon tea was nice yesterday. It was in a hotel right opposite Green Park. :)

I haven't eaten yet as I had a lie-in this morning after all the walking I did at the weekend.

Another chilly one here too, I'm keeping cosy but watching the brave souls all wrapped up enjoying the beach promenade.

My freezer stash is starting to get low so I've been working on a shopping list for delivery this week.

    Cheese salad for lunch.
Lamb curry with rice and some sort of veg on the side tonight.

Cold and grey today, and forecast is same for most of the week. :(

Made afresh loaf in BM this morning, nicely risen this time, cooling for lunch slicing at the moment

Also started soaking some peas, I'm going to try growing pea shoots, but using cooking dried peas' cos that's what I had to hand. May not germinate because peas were BBE Jun 2011 so very old and stuffed at back of a cupboard.
If doesn't work, I have real garden peas seeds, so I'll use them for the next attempt.

Lunch, fresh loaf, cheese salad sarnie
Dinner, electric multi function pressure cooker, beef top side pot roast, root veg in same pot

    Good morning everyone,
    Cold and bright here.
DS2 returns this afternoon, I suspect he'll be shattered and in need of some decent food after a weekend of fried and fast food. Dinner tonight is going to be veg laden!
The tubs and miscellaneous kitchen bits cupboard has been culled and is looking spick and span. Today's tidy is my two dry goods shelves in my larder cupboard though that shouldn't be a massive job. Later this week my cleaning/house stuff cupboard is getting hit, goodness knows what all is in there! After that just one corner cabinet and wall cupboard, they just need a clean and tidy as they both contain things that are used regularly.
LOs for lunch, dinner is going to be JO's salmon in a bag with sweet potatoes, baby corn, green beans and tender stem broccoli. While I'm making dinner I'll sort out a pan of Nana's Magic soup which we are having for dinner tomorrow.

What a good idea Farway, I really enjoyed my pea shoot salads last week and I also have some marrowfat peas in the cupboard so might give that a go on my windowsill  B)

Schools are on mid-term/in-service break up here and we have typical holiday weather grey, windy and drizzling on and off

Lentil soup for lunch with some cream crackers, cheese spread and sliced tomato.
I made some extra boiled rice yesterday in order to make a prawn & mixed veg fried rice tonight.

I forgot to post yesterday, it was a quiet day so you weren't missing much 😁

TBH it was also a quiet day today, I didn't need anything so saw no point in going out in the drizzle 🌧️

I needed to use some eggs so scrambled egg on toast for lunch.

Prawn stir fry with rice for dinner

More dull, grey & gloomy weather this morning.
Updated my Asda delivery for tomorrow, I'm borderline on marge / spread so added some “just in case”

Lunch, cold LO pot roast beef slices in a sandwich
Dinner, more of the LO roast beef, no salad stuff left until tomorrow delivery, so very likely with chips for convenience
