  • Out for a lovely roast beef dinner yesterday - always nice when someone else does the cooking  ;)

Weather has picked up again here too, got some washing out and enjoyed a nice walk around town in the sunshine.

Tuna sandwich for lunch and tonight I'm having smoked sausage, sauerkraut, broad beans & sweetcorn.

Sandals still on here to go to work but did need long trousers and a cardy 😂

Sweet potato and feta couscous for lunch. Broccoli and anchovy pasta tonight.

Looks like you should a nice day Farway 😎

Sunny enough to day to get my bedding line dried 🌞 not sure if I'll get anymore this year

Following a freezer rummage I had tuna and egg spinach salad for lunch with olives, not quite tuna nicoise.  On a fishy theme pan fried salmon with a vegetable fried rice and edamame beans for dinner

  • I am having a chai tea at the moment. I am going out for lunch later so I will just have a toasted bagel for breakfast. It looks like another nice day here today.

    Good morning everyone,
    Enjoy your day out Farway.
Dry but hazy here this morning.
Bits and bobs of admin and domestics planned today before my sis comes over for dinner. I'm making  a chicken and chorizo stew. LO curry or a pork sandwich for lunch.

  • You have picked well for your day out Farway, its wall to wall sunshine here with a soft breeze could this be our "Indian Summer"

Admin day for me too, new factor taking over so all the paperwork needs to be in place for the end of the month.

Easy lunch of egg salad and a freezer dive produced Chilli con carne which I'll have with boiled rice and sweetcorn salsa for tea tonight.

  • Another cold bright start and then turned into a lovely day, quite Indian summer like 🌞

LO pasta for lunch. Beans with toast (with added grated cheese - I’m blaming my cold) tonight.

Have brought said cold to bed, would like rid of it now 😬

I hope you had a good day Farway 🙂

Back to tee shirt weather today 🌞 I'm a little achy this evening after visit to physio I'm sure I'll feel it tonight as well, unfortunately my physio is leaving so I'll have to get use to a new one she has her dream job as physio for women's football team 🙂

I came home via my sister and had a sandwich and a gossip there for most of the afternoon.  Easy dinner of jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw and salad

I hope the cold is better tomorrow JKS 🤧

  • I had such a nice lunch out yesterday. Falafel and houmous salad, potato wedges and then a bit of lemon drizzle cake and cherry bakewell cake. :)

I am having some of the fresh bread I bought at the bakery yesterday for breakfast, I'm not sure with what yet. It looks quite dreary today weather wise. It was lovely yesterday by the seafront.

    Back to normal again.
Sunny day with a stiff breeze

The Wisley outing went quite well, nice & warm day.
The bad bit was my blooming car wouldn't start, so went up in companions one.
Job for RAC Homestart on mine sometime soon, could be anything, turns over but won't fire, and being diesel it's not ignition electrics which is as far as my knowledge of modern cars go.
At least the car is home & undercover, so OK from that viewpoint

Must have worn me out more than I anticipated yesterday, didn't get up until nearly eight this morning, normal for me is about 0630

    Lunch, salad sarnie time
Dinner, I've taken a pasty out to defrost, so that + salad
