  • Beautiful autumn day here, really warm in the sunshine. Load of washing dried on the line 🙃

Cheese, tomato and mustard sandwich for lunch. Sweet potato and feta frittata with salad and a random bread roll from the freezer tonight.

It was sunny enough today to be out in a long sleeve tee shirt, I wish I had washed my bedding before going out 🌞😎 my sister and I went out to the Sussex Prairie Gardens this morning, they had a craft fair this weekend, all very nice and very expensive!  They only sale cakes in their cafe which were covered in wasps  🐝  so a little off putting, the two food trucks one was Syrian which was a no from my sister as she doesn't 'do' chick peas 🙄 and a wood fire pizza one which was expensive so we came back to the strawberry farm for a late lunch in their farm shop.

Sausage and onion marmalade baguette for lunch and we shared a slice of apple crumble cake 😋

I was that hungry tonight so a picky meal of ham, cheese, tomato etc

I've always wanted to go there, it's on my list but have never got round to it, however RHS Wisley is being planned some time soon, before the nights really close in

Made a fresh loaf last night, my bread ran out before I had anticipated, so fresh bread for lunchtime salad sarnie
Dinner, LO cold salmon, with salad bits

  • it was the kind of day that felt warmer outside than inside my flat

    Good afternoon everyone,
Not quite as grey and dreary here today but still on the chilly side.
Apart from cooking dinner later I'm for a quiet day, yesterday was pretty full on so I'm tired today.
LO chicken wings and coleslaw for lunch. Roast pork tonight with roasties, various veg and gravy.
  • Very quiet day here, fighting off a cold.

Pesto and ricotta tortellini, tuna, sweetcorn and sun dried tomatoes for lunch. Made a chickpea and chorizo stew tonight, served with toasted pitta bread.

Another nice day just a chilly start, I spent a couple of hours helping a elderly friend with her to do list although I think if I haven't fixed her thermostat issue she may need to get a man in as TBHits really beyond my area of expertise 😁

egg and cheese spinach salad for lunch.  Korean pork chop with rice, peppers, onions and tenderstem broccoli for dinner

Chilly but sunny, same as yesterday when it clouded over later.

Arranged a day out to RHS Wisley tomorrow, so I'll be MIA I expect.

Lunch today, use up mushrooms omelette
Dinner, last of the LO salmon, new spuds & salad bits

    Good morning everyone,
Sunny but chilly here today. No cold wind so it's really quite pleasant in a sheltered spot. Give me this over mild and wet anytime.
I had my planned lazyish day yesterday so have few, mainly admin things to tackle today.
LOs/ fridge gravel for lunch. Yoghurt lamb curry with rice and naan for dinner.
  • I had a veggie sausage sandwich and a chai tea for breakfast. It is still nice and warm here. I just went out to the shop with my sandals on.
