The cake / loaf turned out fine, heavy as expected with porridge oats in it.Not a Victoria sponge by any means, but a change from banana breadI think it would do well with custard over itDinner, the YS fish pie, with my own fresh runnersEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

I think most things do well with custard over them, Farway 🙃
Long day but quite a bit achieved. More beetroot and feta couscous for lunch. Out at a voluntary meeting this evening, which was very enjoyable, plus there was food provided 😋1 -
It must be Autumn I got a text re booking my annual flu jab and a COVID one which I wasn't entitled to last year🤷🏼♀️
I had to reset my banking app for my CC this morning not sure why as I usually login via Touch ID on my tablet so I never use the password, 25 minutes of my life I'll never get back but all done now. The. I tackled under the stairs which unfortunately becomes a dumping ground.

It feels rainy and a bit more chilly today. It was colder last night as I had to close the window while watching TV and put on some socks.
I really need to tidy/declutter the airing cupboard today. I am just washing the bed covers now after changing them and it reminded me that I keep putting it off!
I have had a cup of Yorkshire tea with sugar and soya milk. Finally cool enough to drink tea in the mornings.
I am going to make a vegan BLT with the last of the bread for breakfast. I have some browning bananas that I need to use for smoothies in the next couple of days too.
I might make pasta for lunch with the rest of the veggies. I have two courgettes and a yellow pepper and I think some squashy tomatoes so I might make a pasta bake.0 -
Good morning everyone,
Overcast here but dry so far.
Virtual meeting in a bit then I need to finalise tomorrow's Tesco order.
Fridge gravel for lunch. Sausage meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta for dinner.0 -
For some reason I was up with the lark, I normally manage to turn over for another hour but not today. Sadly sunrise was a very cloudy and washed out affair this morning so I ended up getting sucked down the worm hole that is u tube for a while.
Lunch today is a slice of square sausage in a bun, with mayo and brown sauce
Tonight its Onion bhajis, kebab style sauce, salad leaves, cucumber, tomato & spiced onions.
Trying hard to balance the "junk" and "healthy" options, I know they say a little of what you fancy does you good but I must do better tomorrow

Another long and busy but good day in the office. That’s me done until Monday and 🤞the weather looks good for tomorrow.
Last of the beetroot and feta couscous for lunch. Halloumi, new potato and red pepper in pitta breads with sriracha tonight (was going to be on skewers but time and non BBQ friendly weather meant I just chucked it all in a frying pan instead 😊)0 -
I had toast with Flora and Marmite and a cup of tea for breakfast.
I am going to use up something from the freezer for lunch and dinner to make space as I have a grocery order arriving tonight.2025 GOALS
