    Another fine day here too.

Out early to the fish shop this morning, he'd only been open for 30mins by the time I arrived, I was 6th in the queue and there was already a huge dent in his display.

Leftover garlic bread for lunch with some cheese, tomato and cucumber.
Tonight I'm doing Haddock in breadcrumbs, AF chips, peas and tartare sauce

  • Sunny, warm day here but I’ve been so busy with work I haven’t had chance to enjoy it. Hopefully the weekend is ok…

More of the mezze bits with toasted pitta for lunch. Chargrilled courgette and halloumi salad with a lemon and caper dressing tonight.

    That's a sign of a good fishmonger N2BT

i forgot to post yesterday until I was in bed and I wasn't going back downstairs 🙂 I also lost a day somewhere 🙄 but I'm back on track tonight

Its been another nice day so I got some gardening done this morning and when washing the wheelie bin had a argument with the outdoor tap and hose pipe connector and ended up with a cold shower 😣 quick trip to Sainsburys this afternoon for some fresh bits

Picky lunch of LO ham, beetroot, cheese, tomato and gherkins.  Noodles with loads of vegetables and turkey breast.  I made a vegetable and turkey soup with lots of finely chopped veg and added in a couple of noodle nests, heavy on the chilli 😋 and plenty of LOs

It is raining here this morning. I think I will need a long sleeved top today.

I haven't eaten yet, but I will have a toasted muffin and a strawberry smoothie as I got them both out of the freezer last night.

Darker & cool first thing, sign of things to come I suppose. :(
Out early and watering the volunteer pots, still dry despite the cooler weather

Lunch, more LO chicken & stuffing in a sandwich.
Dinner, a bit too cool for salad today I think, maybe LO chicken, LO stuffing, AF chips & baked beans?

Sadly it's the only fish shop in town now Brambling the other one closed about 20 years ago. It is nice to see it so well supported by locals and holiday makers alike, everything is so fresh - I luv it  :)

Another nice day here although not so warm with a breeze coming in off the sea.

Not much cooking involved today as I use up stuff and dip in the freezer.

Smashed avocado on toast with cherry toms & cucumber for lunch and tonight I may just treat myself to a glass of my favourite red wine to go along with the spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread.

    Good afternoon everyone,
It's a lovely sunny day here and I've been making the most of it doing (ably assisted by DS2) a much needed garden and greenhouse tidy up.
Having a break for bit and a naughty Gregg's lunch which DS2 has just gone for before round 2!
HM chicken goujons tonight with jazzed up baked beans, corn cobette and HM wedges for dinner. Definitely a day off the diet day lol!

I made a Quorn and vegetable tomatoey stew for lunch. It was very nice and very filling. My brother and his girlfriend have gone to Kenya today. They are still on the plane now. I might make nachos tonight as I just watched a YT video with a nachos recipe.

  • Quiet catch up day here. Was mild but very breezy which was good for drying the load of washing I put through during the 🐙 free electricity hour. I also put the dishwasher on and charged whatever devices I could 🙃

Free Lidl pesto and mozzarella focaccia with salad for lunch. Hoisin glazed tuna steak with gingery vegetable noodles tonight.

Volunteering day for me and it was a busy day.  I got caught behind a couple of steam traction engines this morning after about 5 miles managed to safely pass one to find a second around the corner, both pulling a trailer so difficult to pass on country roads with lots of bends.

After work i went down to the beach and had fish and chips with my sister, she hands back the keys to her friends beach hut tomorrow.  Tomorrow we diet!
