Its all experimental and I am old :) but try to have a go.  May do some of the banana scones in a while.  Already decided what to do in a few days  -  very quick AF lasagne.
I love to plan but its the prep and the cooking I like to do but not too fussed about the eating (you should see the size of me, normous),  xx

    Good afternoon everyone,
    Tasty looking pies wumf.  :)
I managed to accidently spray next door's puss with the hose while watering a hanging basket. I hadn't realised he was lurking on the other side of the fence until he appeared damp and hissing! The glare I got......
Back to winter here this morning, it was tipping down earlier but it's supposed to dry up for a bit this afternoon.
I had a lovely lie in and caught up with the sleep lost the night before.
I've not much planned for today, need to do some ironing and start a chilli con carne for tomorrow but apart from that I'll see what the day brings. Fridge bits for lunch and yoghurt chicken curry for dinner.

I like the idea of mini chicken pies Wumph, will keep that in mind next time I have some leftover cooked chicken.

Miserable day here too, I stopped by the craft shop and bought a ball of wool and crochet hocks, trying to learn this skill with the help of some utube videos. Unravelled every attempt so far but I'll keep at it - patience and all that  :/

Prawn salad sandwich for lunch and my organisation of the freezer unearthed a couple of my mini sausage rolls which I'll have tonight with some baked beans, maybe a handful of chips too.

Feels quite chilly here this evening, been mostly overcast all day but tried to rain on the way home and has definitely cooled down.

Busy office day, as usual lunch eaten at my desk while doing quick win tasks, today it was peach and Parma ham salad with performance data 🙃

Was glad of warming chorizo and butter bean stew tonight. Had it with toasted pitta and the end of the lettuce.

I had a local hospital appointment this morning which I couldn't drive afterwards, it was lovely and sunny when I walked down at 9am but cloudy when I came out at:smile: 11am and stayed that way all day.  It's about 2.5 miles so I did only walk a half mile back to the station as there was a taxi in the rank.  Blurry eyes for a few hours afterwards

I made banana scones this afternoon and have frozen most of them, I needed more cinnamon in what I put in

sausage sandwich for lunch.  Dinner was two scones so not a well balanced meal  :#

I had a lovely sandwich for lunch yesterday in a cafe and then McDs for dinner. It is an eating out day again today as I am off to Kent to look around what will hopefully be our new local area.

The weather doesn't look too nice, but at least it isn't raining.

Glad I did, bought some more Blackstick Blue cheese, plus on offer “fresh” pork pie, and YS Steak pie, MFO chicken dinner & Veg lasagne
    I'll freeze the latter pair.

Morning  I am waiting for a Morris delivery in next hour (got free delivery pass) and daughter popping in for some lunch.  When all gone I want to pop to Morris as well,  I bought some face cream and body butter last week and its lovely,  2.99 each,  so want to stock up as it was a discontinued line I think.  I have never used either but I have really started to show wrinkles now so maybe a bit late but why not. I love to have a nosey,  see what is reduced etc and what is new.  They are cutting the grass outside the flats today,  last week they were cutting the tops off some leylander trees  very very noisy and the chopper up machine too.  No peace for the wicked. having a couple of little pies tonight with some chips - easy doing.

I got some washing out early on, dried and in by lunchtime as there is the threat of thunderstorms this afternoon.

Still experimenting with the crochet and managed a few sample pieces of different stiches - although I need to work on my tension in certain areas but have managed to do an extra large coaster which will be perfect for the teapot stand  :D  off to search for some free beginner patterns.

Lunch was a chickpea & flatbread salad. I've defrosted a turkey steak for tonight not sure what I'll do with it yet maybe bread crumbed strips or a stir fry.
