Did a couple of extra boiled eggs in AF,  used 1 yesterday with some salad cream and spring onion on a sandwich, some left for today,  not sure what to do with other one, may just eat it. Prepped some boiled potatoes for something, some tomato pasta sauce left over from yesterday (third of jar decanted into freezer)  will have shredded chicken for tomorrow.  Fancy opening tin of tuna or mackerel in curry sauce.  So much choice.

    Good afternoon everyone,
wumrf boiled egg and spuds make a cracking salad and would go well with tinned mackerel.
Still cloudy and cool out. We did manage to bbq yesterday but ate inside.
Quiet day today as I was late getting to sleep as NDN's son was playing music, not loudly but the speaker must be near our shared wall, until it was getting light.
As always we had too much food, but we like a good selection! That said DS1, DIL2B and my sis all took LOs to have for lunch, like a HM salad bar lol, so not too much for DS2 and I to use up.
Chicken wings tonight with corn cobettes, salad and LO spuds.

I started feeling hungry at the pedicure as the woman doing it was talking about what restaurants she liked!

I came home and had some white toast with PB and sliced banana. Now I'm having some sweets and watching YouTube before the football is on later. I think I will make an iced coffee. It felt a bit chilly on the way home, but now the sun is out so I just moved my washing outside to dry.

  • I am getting a pedicure today as I last had one 6 weeks ago now. It looks like it might rain later which is annoying as you have to wear sandals afterwards in case it smudges.
You need to have gel polish, Wednesday - I often have to put my boots on after having my toes done 😅

Out for lunch and tea and cake today 😋. Will make a sandwich to have with a 🍷 in a minute. I’ve prepped tomorrow’s lunch and fruit this evening. Did some ironing and cleaned floors this morning but otherwise a very relaxing weekend.

Not sure if the sun appeared your side of the border Farway but it stayed dull here, when I brought washing in at 4pm ish the air felt damp but no rain

i had a lazy day, just some household chores and caught up on some TV.

Ham and cheese salad wrap for lunch.  I was convinced I had some tinned crab meat in the cupboard and planned accordingly but had to rethink as I couldn't find any, so pork and apple burger (no bun) for dinner with sweet potato chips, HM coleslaw and salad

The football last night! Talk about leaving it to the last minute for England to score! Annoying.

I just had toast and Flora. I might be eating out for lunch as we are going to see the new Bad Boys film.

Same here yesterday, nice start with dull finish. I think it's forecast much the same today, sun out for now.
Another restless night, with weather so feeling a bit lethargic this morning, but only pottering today anyway

    Lunch, maybe eggs on toast?
Dinner, I've taken an ex Christmas turkey leg out to defrost and will probably have it with salad bits unless weather turns cold then it's AF chip time

Well just having a go again.  The bone in chick thighs from yesterday  beautiful,  split meat up, had sarnie last night with some,  put some (it was cooked with veg) in dish and lid in freezer (meal 1) put remainder in foil dish but too big for 1 shortcrust pastry pie (frozen) so have just made 3 small foil "bowls" and filled and then topped them,  2 small silicon cake moulds and lids and a little left so added some of the boiled potatoes from yesterday + few frozen peas.  They are all in AF now so we will see what they turn out like.  Doubt they will be pretty but its only for me and can pop a couple in freezer for another day. About the size of small pork pies.  Fingers crossed.  Had neighbour from across the corridor round to see why her moby wasnt working so had to have a go at that at same time.  Having cuppa now.

Just taken out  170 for 18 mins  and they look ok.  may pop them back in AF before eating to brown the bottoms off a bit more but I think they would be ok.  Just in case anyone is interested will try to post piccie.
