    Good morning everyone,
Weather is still dire and supposed to drop to 6 or 7C this evening. I think the stove will be getting lit.
I made a decent start to the "shift everything" cleaning, under the couches was a bit scary!! Mainly mopping to do today, I ran out of oomph yesterday.
I made a quick chicken & veg soup for dinner last night to use up lurking veg so that's lunch covered and there will be some for the freezer.
Tesco due later, just one acceptable sub. Dinner is tbc, possibly more soup!

Fancied a stew today, bit difficult for 1 person. Put beef cubes/onion/tomato/pasta sauce and a pepper into ChatGPT and asked for meal for 1 in Air fryer. Came up with simple recipe just using extra dried spices and oil of course. Not loads of stuff you need to buy. I had frozen beef cubes in freezer, half a pepper, an onion although I have dried,  ditto garlic. Beef is marinading in some spices, veggies chopped ready and few died herbs from cupboard. Will AF the beef later,  then veggies etc  and after that mix together with the pasta sauce.  May add a mushroom.  Super easy and few freshish ingredients.  Hopefully there will only be enough for 1 meal but I bet there will be enough for 2.

I'm also having a lazy day, finished one book yesterday and ready to start another - Richard Osman's "The Thursday Murder Club" managed to pick it up cheap  B)

I woke in the early hours and couldn't resist watching the results come in, status quo here.

Cold meat salad sandwich for lunch.

I have some leftover gammon from last night, much thicker slices than I thought I had so will throw together a special fried rice with it and some veg and prawns.

That’s me done with work until a week on Monday 🙌

Saw the sun a bit earlier but mostly grey and it has turned drizzly this evening.

Avocado and eggs on toast for lunch. Pizza, salad and coleslaw for tea.

Popped out for a few bits when I finished work but I haven’t planned much past the next day or two, looking forward to going with the flow 😊

We were the longest held Tory seat however after 144 years we have gone LD, two visits from the PM obviously failed! For years it has been said you could put a blue rosette on a donkey and it would win!

we had a wet day here as well and it is now tipping down again I'm hoping the forecast on the phone is wrong as it says rain until Thursday ☔️

I had no breakfast this morning so had brunch of bacon, poached egg and toast instead.  Salmon and watercress salad with new potatoes for dinner

We have two more estate agents over today to give us valuations. We had some done about a month ago so I'm hoping it won't have changed much since then!

I am going to have a picky bits plate for brunch after I finish cleaning and tidying up before they get here. I'm going to have to put my two cats in their cat baskets while they are here to make it easier so they aren't underfoot!

I spotted that Brambling, there's a few around here, including mine, that LD came within a whisker of grabbing.

Very wet overnight so no garden watering required today

    Lunch, scrambled eggs on toast
Dinner, Pukka steak pie, HM mash & use up frozen veg, probably pop some fresh carrots in there

    Good morning everyone,
For once the sun is shining, though it's to rain this afternoon. I'm contemplating washing the front windows as it's another one that's easier without a water adoring cockapoo "assisting"!
DS2 and Hector return this afternoon, I've enjoyed my quiet couple of days and got lots done but I'll be pleased to see them.
Last night I cooked salmon and spinach to have with veg and new potatoes. There's some salmon & spinach LO so I'm going make a quick pate/spread with some sour cream to have with a mug of the HM soup for lunch. Tonight it's spicy chicken flatbreads with salad using up some LO pitas from last weekend's bbq.

Very very wet and I think its here for most of the week too.

Caught up on most of my chores so another relaxing afternoon planned, more reading/craft projects to keep me busy and Sky Arts on in the background with the Carpenters, Tribute to George Harrison, Elvis then Eric Clapton, It'll be a nice change from sport.

Egg and tomato sandwich for lunch and tonight I'll do a Chilli chicken pasta with some green beans.

The beef casserole yesterday was good with mash. I added some freezer veg so have enough for today too,  will do with jacket potato.  Trying to eat dinner later,  was 5.00 ish but trying 7.00 as I think it is helping my diabetes control so I do not get up so often in the night and do not get the wobbly and sweats(hyper or hypo) around 3.00 a.m (quite usual for type 2 I think). Having late lunch now, boiled eggs with salad.

    Maybe something with chicken tomorrow.
