I felt chilly yesterday and I had to have a blanket on the sofa for most of the day. It looks okay today so I have moved some laundry outside to dry.
I am just doing a Tesco groceries order and then I need to have a shower and get dressed and go and buy some cushions to "style" my home a bit for when they take the photos.
I will probably have a smoothie before I go and then toast for my second breakfast when I get back. I am going to do spaghetti today as I have a pepper, onions and the rest of the tomatoes to use up. I am doing a face pack and I need to go and wash it off.0 -

It looks okay todayI'm a bit off my food for some reason, fell generally OK, just not starving.Today is likely to be a pick at food sort of day, so nothing really planned.I have some tinned soup and plenty of eggs, plus of course a freezer full of stuff, so I won't shrivel upEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Good morning everyone,
There's a strange orange thing in the sky!!I have physio at lunchtime and then a sit in the sunshine is on the agenda. I aim to make the most of the relative calm before Frank arrives tomorrow to stay until the end of the month while DS1 & DIL2B are in Greece.
Fridge bits for lunch. Cumberland sausages, beans, peas and HM oven chips for dinner. I made a pan of ragu yesterday for a lasagne tomorrow, I'll make bechamel later and assemble as I always think it's better put together the day before.0 -
Sunshine, showers and somewhat chilly here too, I'm resisting the urge to put a small heater on, donned an extra layer in the meantime.
Turkey meatball salad with a yoghurt & chutney dressing for lunch.
I'm copying Brambling today as I have some curry sauce left from last night and because I ate all of the monkfish I'll add some king prawns from the freezer along with some more spinach and green beans to bulk it up a bit - chips or noodles? that's the question.
Wow Caronc that's a long time to have two mad mutts under your feet

Absolutely beautiful here this morning, had to put sun cream on about half an hour into fence painting. I also tidied some bits in the garden and dried some bedding on the line 🙃
Second samosa with salad and pimped up coleslaw for lunch.
A pottering and tennis watching afternoon, got a bit rainy late afternoon and looks like it’s set in for the night.
Prawn, cashew and veg egg fried rice tonight. Was yummy with some fresh coriander stirred through at the end 😋0 -
Another grey day with rain this afternoon and evening
I didn't need to go out so had a admin day at home, things like the car service which is now book for mid Aug. Not sure why but I couldn't sleep last night and ended up finishing my book at 4am before dropping off, his loadship did allow me a lay in until nearly 9am or perhaps I slept through his earlier attempts to wake me?
Ham and cheese toasted sandwich with sliced tomatoes for lunch. I marinated a couple of pork belly slices with 5 spices etc and AF for dinner with LO rice and vegetablesLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
I had quite an early night last night, quarter to 11, so I woke up about 5.30 and then decided not to go back to sleep as the estate agent is coming round here at 10 to sign the paperwork to go with them in selling the house.
I am just having some seeded toast with the last of the Flora butter. Tesco is coming tonight with more Flora.
I need to order a new phone after he leaves as I am sick of the rubbish storage on mine.2025 GOALS

I have been really hungry as I woke up so early! I've had toast, a yoghurt, a smoothie and now a bowl of bean soup with a roll.2025 GOALS
