Sun out & could be getting warmer by mid-week, allegedly ;)
If it keeps fine I need to potter a bit, with some garden tidying up

Made a fresh loaf for lunch, salad sarnie will do nicely
Dinner, still have LO slow cooked chicken, so may pick the carcass over and maybe add to jar of mushroom sauce for chicken & mushroom glop.

    Good morning,
Wet and grey here. I've been up since silly o'clock after Ari decided to throw up on my bed! He seems as right as rain now though.
The three pooches are reasonably calm, Frank goes home tonight and Ari may or not go home for one night as my nephew might be about tomorrow.
Family coming for dinner tonight - cottage pie, various bread and HM gravy. I made a monster of a pie yesterday but I'm not expecting much by way of LOs. LO chicken with salad for lunch.

I'm feeling really tired today. I have the dentist tomorrow and my cat has her checkup at the vet later today.

I haven't even had breakfast yet. I have loads of food as Sainsbury's delivered yesterday.

Nice sunny morning here but rain due this afternoon, so up early to get washing on the whirlie.

Leftovers of last nights risotto for lunch, I did think about freezing it to make aranchini next week but the freezer is pretty packed after my delivery last week.

A veggie fest tonight with cauliflower cheese, new potatoes, asparagus & sweetcorn on the menu.

LO roast chicken with salad, new potatoes and coleslaw in a lunchbox today, really enjoyed it. Garlic mushroom and pesto pasta with green beans tonight.

The weather has improved here too 😁 they were forecasting rain this week but that has changed 🌞 after the weekend my sleep pattern is out of sync, I was still awake after 3am then his lordship woke me up at 4am sitting on my head 🙄 we are currently not talking as he drew blood earlier taking a swipe when I turned a page on my book

it seems I'm getting a pay rise for my last two pays the letter from my senior manager advised he was looking forward to working with me this year 🙄 and they wonder why I'm leaving

Food wise today was like yesterday. Second half of a tin of tuna with spinach salad for lunch.  LO chicken and rice traybake with green veg there are still LOs

I have the dentist this morning and I'm not looking forward to it.

I have had some ginger tea and I will have a smoothie before I leave as every time I chew food it gets caught in the hole where my filling was. I have another library book ready so I will pick that up too. It looks quite nice out, but I'm sure it said it would be raining later today.

    Good morning everyone,
Frank and Ari have gone home though Ari is back tomorrow. DS1 and DIL2B had a lovely time in France but unfortunately picked up a mild tummy bug and are feeling a tad wiped out and glad to be back home.
Sunshine and heavy showers so far today though milder - yesterday was like back to winter.
Lots of things I should be getting on with but after a hectic few days I think a quiet one beckons.
With DS1 and DIL2B not coming for dinner as planned there's cottage pie LOs, not as much as there should be as my nephew had three!! helpings. Well seeing he's missing home cooking now he has his own place! I'll have some for lunch and freeze the rest. DS2 is making dal for dinner tonight, not had it in ages so really looking forward to it.

Lovely sunny day here too, been out making the most of it as tomorrow going to be a bit of a stinker for the east coast by all accounts.

Tuna salad wrap for lunch, and tonight I'm having spaghetti and meatballs with some tenderstem broccoli.
