Online shopping
arrived on time so I had a lovely fresh rocket, feta and pomegranate salad with
some crusty bread.
I know they are a
bit pricey but as a treat for myself I ordered some jersey royals and
asparagus; I'll have them tonight with a piece of salmon from the freezer and a
touch of creamed horseradish on the side.

I was in bed by 6.30 last night as I felt tired for some reason!
I just had a glass of oat milk with strawberry syrup. I need to pick up my prescription today as it wasn't ready yesterday.2025 GOALS

Very cold wind this morning, my poor climbing beans are out there but at least it's not frosty.Wednesday2000 said:I was in bed by 6.30 last night as I felt tired for some reason!

Good morning everyone,Hope the Jersey Royals were goof N2BT, I've some coming in my order.Chaos continues here though less manic than yesterday as Ari has gone home though tbh he's the quiet one of the three! Frank is a hooligan, lovely but full tilt and in at everything. He's now quite a bit taller and longer than Hector so can reach things H can't. Unlike Hector he's also a food monster and giving to pinching if he can so we are having to be really careful.Fridge gravel for lunch and usual Friday tbc.1

Haha, cat milk. Speaking of cats I had to give my one her pill today and she was being very annoying. I had to wrap her in a blanket to do it finally.
I had my usual wholemeal toast for breakfast and I'm having jacket potatoes, baked beans and salad for lunch.2025 GOALS

The food is the only summery thing around here JKS, its bitterly cold here again and I think its forecast to be minus 2 tonight.
The Jersey Royals were absolutely delicious Caronc, tiny baby ones but perfectly formed and very tasty.
Lunch today was more of the rocket leaves with some cucumber and ss peas topped with cottage cheese and a drizzle of pomegranate molasses.
Aubergine Parmigiana tonight with some roasted cauliflower and hm garlic bread.

Yay it's Friday and only 18 working days left 🥳 it's been nippy today I almost put my heating back on 🥶 but just added another thick layer instead
I picked up my medication lunchtime, the little chemist I use have changed hands again and the chaos has ceased, my doctor sent it over after 5pm on Wednesday and I got a text 10am that it was ready and no queue. I've been told they have started delivering again which is a real bonus for the elderly etc. Lidl had garden items in the middle aisle so I have just been in and replaced my hose pipe and got some berries for breakfast and some cheap tomatoes that's my shopping done for the week
I used the last of my old eggs and made an asparagus omelette for lunch using up the last of some asparagus I cooked a couple of nights ago. LO aubergine, courgette, butter bean and tomato stew with kale and green beans for dinner. Stayed dry here today and there were glimpses of the sun so got a load out on the line, it dried in the breeze.
Productive wfh day, finished the simple task and got a few other things crossed off my list.
Scrambled eggs and avocado on toast for lunch. Made chicken and sugar snap pea Thai red curry tonight, served with noodles 😋

I haven't had breakfast yet. My cat was miaowing at me today and I checked the temp and it is only 12 in my kitchen! I closed all the windows I had opened and put the heating on. It looks very grey and rainy out there.
I'm about to finish ordering Sainbury's and then I will have a hot bath. I fancy noodles now JKS has mentioned them so I might have a proper brunch after my bath.2025 GOALS
