Oh. I only just read what you said! The potatoes exploded, oh dear! Lol.

    Happy St Patrick's day!

I had Pip and Nut PB on a muffin and then two crackers with some of the bean dip. I'm going to make a hot drink. It feels chilly today.

I haven't had tin spuds since I was a student and I remember them tasting tinny, I'm assuming they no longer do?

A stay at home day for me, I did start cleaning the kitchen floor and realised the kick boards were grubby and my the time I had finished all the cupboards and appliances were washed 🙂 I gave up before I tackled the top of the cupboards the energy had run out by then 😁 and it was lunchtime

I breaded some chicken tenders and airfried to eat with the last of the lentil salad for lunch.  Modules and Frits for dinner

The potatoes taste fine to me. I have only tried that Tesco brand, though.

I'm making curried parsnip soup today as I saw that recipe in a book yesterday. I have three parsnips in the fridge so that should make two lunches. I have taken out some rolls to defrost to have one with Flora with it.

That will be for lunch so I will have cereal or toast for breakfast. It looks like a lovely day today. I was feeling chilly yesterday.

    Good morning everyone,
Sunny and mild here so far.
Off to physio soon- I'm looking forward to getting de-kinked!
Cooked a big pan of tomato and rice soup using a recipe from my new book. It's tastes lush. A bowlful of that will be lunch when I get back. Dad’s tomato & rice soup | Jamie Oliver Cookbook Club recipes (I used tinned tomatoes and basmati rice.  JO's salmon in a bag for dinner with salad and sweet potatoes.

Hi folks, would you believe it just two weeks after getting out of the safety bubble that was my car and travelling on the buses I've gone down with Covid.

Mid-week I began feeling like I'd got a chill, shivery, headache and aching all over. Took to my bed and survived on a diet of water, herbal tea, toast, banana and tinned fruit. But the aching in my back had me concerned it might be my kidneys so first thing on day 3 forced myself to the local SM to get supplies and consumed copious amounts of cranberry juice, fresh ginger & lemon tea. Thankfully the aches eased, urine returned to normal colour but the cough then started so tested yesterday and after managing to avoid it for the past 4yrs the test was positive  :(

My appetite is starting to return today so breakfast this morning was the last of the tinned mandarins. Energy levels are better so managed to change the bedding and get it out on the line. Hm soup from the freezer and a slice of toast for lunch, chicken later if I need it, but energy level starting to slump now so we'll see.

Oh no N2BT Take care. Just rest as much as you can.

That tomato soup sounds nice Caronc.

I really liked the curried parsnip soup. I had a huge bowl and then another went in the fridge for leftovers. I put some of my laundry out on the line to dry, but I am keeping an eye on the weather as it looks like it might rain.

Easy food day, vegetable soup for lunch and dinner was pasta with a prawn/ tomato / veggie sauce

Hope you’re improving N2BT, at least it sounds like a milder strain than some have had
    Likewise, Caron, fully dekinked now?

Lunch, more use up stale bread toast, maybe with grilled tinned sardines topping?
Dinner, More of the LO chicken, nuked jacket spud & easy salad

I have woken up hungry. I had a smoothie with a banana, cocoa powder and soya milk. I had half a vegan chicken burger in the fridge so I had that in a bread roll. I will have that bowl of leftover soup about 12, maybe with another roll.

I had a message that another library book I reserved is ready to be picked up.
