I have slight vertigo too at the moment and I notice it when I turn over in bed. I think it was from the dentist chair going back. I did see this exercise on YT the other day that is meant to help you walk better so you have better balance. You sit on a chair and put your feet on a towel on the ground and try and grab the towel towards you with your toes. I meant to try it as I feel like my feet aren't properly on the floor at times. I am going for a walk now, but I'm going to try it when I get home!
It looks very grey and dull outside. I am going to have a cup of something hot when I get home.

Mostly a leftover/use-up kinda day
Leftover pancakes with lemon curd and blueberries this morning
More of the salady stuff and ham for lunch
Last nights salmon fillet was bigger than I though so used the leftover in a stir fry with veggies and l/o rice that I had in the freezerJan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

A day of meetings, some more productive than others. Oh well, no work now until Monday 🥳
Second half of the grain, roasted carrot and feta salad for lunch. Been swimming tonight and made a quick and tasty prawn, pepper and sweetcorn egg fried rice when I got back.0 -
Sleepless night again, I was still awake coughing with asthma at 3am I'm wondering if his lordship snuck onto my pillow for a snooze during the day 🤔Just the one meeting today which I need to start the handover next week, I don't think the person I'm handing it over fully understands the work that is done pre meeting, she could be in for a shock 😁
I had an osteopath appointment lunchtime so I'll grumble for the next couple of days before i feel the benefit of the session.Mug of soup on the run when I got home for lunch. The last of the chicken and veg for dinner so another easy food day. Just need to ponder dinner tomorrow as I didn't menu plan this weekLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
It feels lovely and mild again, it is sunny too. I hope this weather lasts as it is my birthday next month and I know it has snowed at least twice in March when I've made plans to go out. I can't think what years they were, definitely before the pandemic. I seem to divide my life before and after that event now.
I have had a cup of chocolate/vanilla tea that I bought on a splurge.
I am going to have a huge smoothie and then a Quorn chicken, salad and mustard toastie for lunch. I organised my "pantry" yesterday and saw I bought some protein powder that I haven't tried. I might add that to the smoothie.
I did fancy making a spaghetti bolognese. I will mix the soya mince with lentils to stretch it out.2025 GOALS

Sun just creeping out and mild as well, with the daffs out it certainly is spring like right nowMade a banana loaf first thing, those bananas soon get ripe, but I'm OK with that now I can use them in cakeLunch, sort of ploughmans, with mini pork pie & some posh cheeses + salad bitsDinner, pork loin steaks & mushrooms. On offer from AsdaI see where the Asda “offer” prices and Lidl etc price match comes from, shrinkflation, the 2.5 kg bag of spuds is now 2Kg for same price along with other items, not surprised TBH, just a bit sneaky that's allI did wonder where some of my Favourites had gone, now I know, smaller sizes means they have dropped off the listEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

We’re shrouded in fog but it feels a bit warmer today. The daff’s are barely 2-3inches above ground here
My fruit bowl stock is on the verge too, the last of the grapes and a pear were had for breakfast, the banana’s were chopped up and frozen for smoothies or ice cream. I may also need to stew a couple of pears as they are starting to go over.
I’m still enjoying salady bits so it’s a prawn cocktail salad for lunch.
I had half a pepper leftover from last night’s fried rice so have thrown together an almost puttanesca sauce using the pepper and some onion, tomatoes, anchovies, olives and a hint of chilli, I’ve got just enough spaghetti for a large portion and I’ll sprinkle feta on top for a change.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Good morning everyone,
Absolutely tipping it down here. Another day of gentle pottering on the cards, I'm definitely feeling less "off" so time to get the moving about increased. My step count (or lack of) has been shocking the past few days so I'm feeling very stiff and creaky. The Tebay farm shop sausages were gorgeous. We had them with mushrooms, beans, HM oven chips and egg. Naughty but very, very nice. HM soup from the freezer for lunch and tonight it's JO's sweet and sour pork with rice and various veg.

There were loads of Tete a Tete narcissus in containers yesterday when I walked into town, mine however seems to have disappeared this year as well as my crocus
Usual work day although a last minute system issue meant it was 6pm before I logged off
last of my soup for lunch with some HM soda bread, just a small loaf as I'm working my way through some wholemeal flour and I only had a little plain flor to mix it with. Smoked haddock for dinner with mashed potato and green veg

Dull, but mild & dry, good for the gas bill at least, first morning my heating has not clicked on so certainly milderUmming & ahhing about meals, now I'm going over DD's on Sunday and hence my planned slow cooker meal timing has to be jiggled, a minor problem though, I'll not starveLunch, Mini pork pie & salad bitsDinner, due to meal jiggling it's a RM MFO, chicken curry I thinkWith HM banana bread if peckishEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0
