Another frosty start here but the sun is shining - not that I’m gloating, but take care those with weather warnings today.
I still have tuna leftover from yesterday so another sandwich planned and although this splits opinion I may include some crisps in there too
This evening I’m having beef stew from freezer stock, mealie pudding and a potato & swede mix, its not quite rumbledethumps as I don’t have any cabbage, but will enjoy it all the same.

Good morning everyone,
Grey and cold here but it's to get very windy and sleety from this afternoon. DS2 is going to take Hector for his main walk at lunchtime instead of this evening and then if need be he can just use the garden.
I'm having an unsteady day so not much planned apart from a bit of admin and finalising tomorrow's Tesco order. LO cottage pie for lunch and I've a tub of white bean and chicken chilli defrosting for dinner.

It’s rained all day here and been cold and dark. Another manic office day but all productive.
End of the pea and leek soup for lunch with cheese topped roll. Celebrating national pizza day tonight (quite by chance but very welcome on a miserable evening). Had it with salad, coleslaw and a bit of garlic bread 😋0 -
It's rained all day here as well ☔️
still playing catch up at work, I wasn't amused by a overseas colleague calling me as soon as she saw I logged on I know she had been working for a while as she's in India but I do like time to log on and check emails and any meetings before being jumped on especially as it turned out to be nearly a hour conversation where I talked her through something again!
nectar vouchers ran out today and there were items on my shopping list so I popped out quickly to Sainsbury as i don't need much this week,
lunch was a gammon and blue cheese roll. To lazy to cook since I got back from SM so I may have some toast in a minute or I'll wake up hungryLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Grey & damp again, seems never ending, but I spotted my fist open daff this morning as I drew the curtains back, despite the wind & rain there it is
, Spring arrives
Lunch, egg sarnie probablyDinner, despite the weather, it's more salad bits. Another of my large spuds baked in the oven, and salmon fillet fried in EVO / butterJust got my Asda shopping to finalise, I have to keep going back as offers drop off [butter & spread] to make sure I get the best offer if there is one. It's fine once I pay for it the price is set, it's the time prior where I have come unstuck before.Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
I saw some daffodils in the park yesterday, but they weren't open yet. It was pouring yesterday to and from my reflexologist appointment. I was so tired I nearly fell asleep on the treatment table. I felt much better afterwards and had a really good sleep last night.
I have had a smoothie and some toast and Flora and Marmite so far. It didn't feel that bad when I went out to Coop this morning. At least the rain stopped.
I have some of those Paul Hollywood part baked rolls so I am going to have one with soup. I might make a batch instead of just opening a can! I'm not sure what yet.2025 GOALS

Good morning everyone,
The weather yesterday afternoon was foul and at bed time it was snowing quite heavily. No sign of any of the white stuff this morning though it's still very windy and bitterly cold. My sister has braved the chill and taken Hector and Ari for a run on the beach. Hector will be happy but I suspect Ari will be under impressed!
My balance is still very wonky so another quiet day planned.
For once there's no LOs so lunch will either be salady bits, eggs or HM soup from the freezer. I've ran out bread but there's bagels in the freezer and I've oat cakes and crackers. Tesco are due this evening with supplies.Dinner will be the usual Friday see what I fancy later.

Wet and windy here, the sea is like a boiling cauldron with spume flying everywhere in the wind, so I’m having a very lazy day lounging about in extra warm pj’s.
I’ve had some soup and toast for lunch and tonight planning bacon wrapped asparagus topped with a poached egg, roasted cauliflower and garlic bread on the side.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
