It is sunny, but very chilly outside. I forgot my gloves when I went out too. I just remembered I have that gross pasta leftovers. I really don't fancy it.
I might have soup and the last of the sourdough bread instead.0 -
Cold today, I've had my heating on more than usual, the price for WFH 🥶
usual Monday for me and just the one short team meeting, a report I needed to write went unexpectedly well 😁
The LO beef keeps on giving, I halved a larger joint so I have the same size in the freezer. Beef, horseradish and tomato roll for lunch using a part bake roll. Beef with bubble and squeak for dinnerLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
I like peanut butter and sliced banana on toasted bagel 😋
Very cold here but was in the office which was horribly stuffy from early afternoon onwards.
Took a portion of the Thai sweet potato soup and a pitta bread for lunch. Easy tuna pesto pasta with green beans and peas tonight.1 -
Blue sky & sunshine, but a very hard frost, a day for a mug of hot chocolate I'd sayWednesday2000 said:It is sunny, but very chilly outside. I forgot my gloves when I went out too. , I'm on a hill and the access road is one of the first to suffer with ice & or snow. Have to wait & see, but I've plenty of food in so not a problem if no delivery.
Lunch, last of the BLT in a sarnie.Dinner, bacon, eggs & AF frozen chips, last of that greasy spoon café style meal, all used nowEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1 -
The leftover pasta didn't taste that bad cold, weirdly. I just sprinkled some Maldon salt on it. I do have another portion left for today. I won't buy that sauce again, though.
I have had a cup of black coffee and some water. I'm going to have a toasted pitta with Quorn ham, lettuce and mustard for breakfast and the pasta for lunch.
It is very cold again, but sunny, so I will go for a short walk after my bath. I am going to start reading the Britney Spears autobiography today.2025 GOALS

Good morning everyone,
Dull and sleety here, we are in the snow warning area but we'll get any being on the coast. It's blooming freezing.
Didn't get as far as posting yesterday, I had a very rigorous physio session and then the day just seem to disappear. I'm very sore today so glad that for once we're not having our Tuesday get together.
Trying this "white bean/chicken" chilli recipe White Bean and Chicken Chili Recipe | Food Network UK though reducing the quantity and using frozen spinach instead of chard. We're having it tomorrow so will make it today so the flavours have a chance to develop. Apart from a bit of cooking and routine chores I'm for a gentle day and hopefully my back will be easier tomorrow.
Managed to avoid too many LOs on Sunday, as my sis took takeaway portions for her and my nephew leaving just some beef and a few YPs to use up. I froze the YP's and used the beef in a stir fry last night - LOs of that for lunch. Cumberland sausage rings for dinner, sides tbc.0 -
Good morning, chilly but bright this morning, there was a bit of a red sky but I think we’re not due any more snow in my little corner of Scotland until later in the day.
Boiled egg and an oatcake for breakfast, I have a generous amount of chana dal leftover so I’ll have some for lunch and freeze the rest. Found some passata in the freezer so I’ll make a pasta sauce and have some spinach and ricotta tortellini with it, ss peas and slice of garlic bread.caronc said:Good morning everyone,

Yes we do sometimes get some N2BT but usually we'll be clear or just have a sprinkle whereas just a couple of miles inland will have a heavy covering. Snow on the beach always looks amazing.0

Snow on the beach is a song by Taylor Swift. I was hoping I would get snow on the beach, but I haven't since I've been living here.
I ended up having the pasta for breakfast instead. I was going to have a NSD, but I went to Coop, the pharmacy and then a £1 type shop and managed to spend about £15 in all. I did at least get some steps in. I bought some citric acid to put down the drains and loo that I'm doing now.
It is warmer than I expected. I had to take my gloves off.
I'm going to have the Quorn ham pitta now. I think I have some wholegrain mustard in the fridge that needs using up.2025 GOALS

I'm too much of a relic to be familiar with Taylor Swift's repertoire Wednesday, depends on what kind of snow she's singing about
Neighbours wasted their time clearing their cars this morning, the heavy showers we've had all afternoon have covered them again as well as the paths the gardening guy spent ages clearing. High tide at the moment so the sand and shingle are snow free, fingers crossed that's the last for us.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
