Sounds like your fork could turn into Triggers broom Farway 🙂
lunch out with my sister today, there's a cafe about 20 mins from town next to the farm which produces Sussex Charmer cheese and amongst other cheesy things they do a really nice cheese on toast, 😋 we shared a couple of slices so we could have a slice of Bakewell tart each 🙂. And because we know how to live we came back via HomeBase. My sis was please to find loft boarding which she tell me have been impossible to find and I brought a kitchen bin 🙂 She came in for a cuppa and I kicked her out at 5pm 😁
I halved a chicken and roasted it for dinner, with new potatoes, beans and courgette chips the other halve has been frozen
Tomorrow for the first time since January 2020 I'm going to meet a friend in Chichester for lunch and a bottle of something frizzy 😁Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -

Several of us in the office once tried to explain this to a Indian colleague so was still none the wiser why we were giggling after watching it especially as all those above a certain age were quoting bits before the two Ronnie did 🙂Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Dull & warm today, but now have a courgette bequeathed by DD during her visit, she has the normal glut of course, she left some windfalls so along with mine it's crumble time sometime todayShe {DD, not cat's mum
] has discovered chutney & jam making this year, which was one reason for her visit, collect some jam jars. I'm told it's HM jam for Christmas presents, 20 plus of plum made so far
Today's meals are dictated by what is fresh or needs usingLunch, sarnie, I have some steak near BB date so may fry some up and go mad in a sarnieDinner, I think it'll be defrost a salmon steak with boiled new spuds, steamed celery, carrots, courgette, cabbage [4 Cs there] and last of the broccoliEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
Good afternoon everyone,
I'm CFO for a week though DS1 & DIL-to-be are staying over tonight as they have a 30th birthday do.
Dull & windy here today but warm if you are out of the wind.
Lunch was a wrap filled with avocado, feta and tomatoes.
Tonight I'm cooking dish that I've not made for a very long time - chicken marinated in bbq sauce topped with pineapple and cheese. The recipe must be from a TV programme or magazine and I reckon I added it to my wee red notebook in the mid 1990s. As I'm just cooking for one I'm cheating though and using some bought bbq sauce rather than making it. I'll have it with roast veg.

Easy morning pottering around, doing a meal plan and shopping list. Use up lunch of red pepper, spinach and feta frittata.
Ventured out to take advantage of a Boots advantage points event this afternoon as I needed to stock up on various things. Also popped into M&S so dinner was moules frites 😋0 -
The transport gods tried to interfere with my visit to Chichester today 🙄 unfortunately there was a person hit by train further up the line which caused chaos, luckily I checked on line early so had a brisk walk to the station as a earlier train was running on time, then the station before Chichester we lost the driver 🙄 my friend was driving and there were issues on the motorway. So a drink was needed when we both finally got there 😁 it was lovely to catch up face to face after 18months and the next one is in the diary and her husband brought us lunch 😁
Lunch was steak and chips followed by Elton Mess which contained other soft fruit as well as strawberries so no dinner has been required. There was also some fizz 🍾

Back to warm & sunny this morning which is ideal because I had thought of eating yet more salad for todaySad news on the railway there Brambling, I know from watching local news that line is a magnet for accidents with a lot of unmanned crossings and fast trainsToday's CFO has already started, I made a coleslaw early this morning which is now "mingling" in the fridge, plus a couple of bangers out defrosting for lunch sarnie, yesterday PM the stewed Blackberry & apples turned out as good as usual, ready for a crumble later today with excess going into the freezerI had to chuck some milk out this morning
, it failed "sniff" test with my cuppa. Fortunately my neighbour had brought a couple of pints for me on Friday as I suspected problems.
She was over Chichester way then & don't know if milk shortages in S/ms or what but she came back with proper posh blue top, Organic from the Goodwood Estate. It's like real old style milk & leaves a cream line and I can really taste the difference, even in tea! I see they make their own cheese, including a Blue, as well, One thing for me to explore further & remember next time I'm in a farm shopMeals today, lunch sausage sarnie timeDinner, fried steak with HM AF chips + salad including HM coleslaw and HG tomatoes followed by the yet to made B & A crumble + instant custardEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0
