Yes, of course - it’s from the Waitrose magazine. I just halve it for CFO, works well. The lime and coriander yoghurt is fab x

I may have to try that recipe as well JKS I have cod in the freezer, but no coriander for me 🤢 it's the devils food 🙂

work finished at 6pm so a little earlier than planned although I did log on at 7.30am so still along day.  Between testing I needed to be in earshot of the laptop and couldn't garden so I sorted a couple of kitchen cupboards and under the stairs, a year locked together caused my plastic containers to separate 🙄 considering most haven't been out the cupboard much this last year I'm not sure how that happened and the usual bottoms with no lids and lids with no bottoms  :|  I also have a large pile of paperwork to shred 🙂

Lunch was a tuna and watercress salad. Dinner a M&S RM chicken katsu and sticky rice i added broccoli, I remember why I don't usually buy RM, it was a generous portion but the sauce was too salty and tasted too artificial unfortunately I had poured it over before tasting.  It was YS and half price brought a few weeks ago and taking up freezer room

Bit of a muggy restless night and it's hot out already, but the only exertion planned for today is my W8rose delivery around Noon
Can't come soon enough, my HM bread has gone mouldy, and penetrated so it tasted yuk, binned it and no toast, I could've had cereal except I'm on the last drops of milk so can't spare it on cereals

Fresh food stocks have been cut a tad too fine, I blame W8rose for not having a slot available until today :(
I have PB baguettes so I'll bake one up for lunch post delivery by then I'll also have salady stuff to insert, or if time's knocking on could be a bowl of Weetabix [on offer & in my delivery]
I've had the confirming e mail, everything I ordered is on it's way without subs or omissions, even the Savoy cabbage & salad items, I did wonder if with the weather salad stuff would be in short supply but there again as mine was packed earlier this morning I expect fresh overnight delivery resolved any problem there

Meals today are dependant on the BBE dates of the fresh stuff due, I have Gammon steaks, chunky cod or frying steak, so whichever is shortest dated will be the base for dinner, probably with HM AF chips
Lunch, PB baguette with salady cheese filling or cereal, depends on delivery arrival time

    Good morning everyone,
Lovely and sunny here and 18C already.
Second jab for me today but apart from that I've not got much planned. I've a portion of lamb curry defrosting for an easy dinner this evening.

W8rose delivery arrived on time, it's fried steak tonight going by BBE dates, plus I'd forgotten I'd ordered mushrooms, I'll fry them in EVOO as well
The Iceberg lettuce is a disgrace, but I think it's  a phone call for W/rose & not online for a refund, in which case CBA

Bill Gates came back & reset my taskbar to Shetland after I changed it :s , it's raining there with not a lot of traffic:smirk:

    Good evening everyone,
How Farway are you on some sort of roaming network?
My second jab is done and dusted.  Not as slick an operation as last time with a bit of queuing needed but still really well organised. The waiting was a good opportunity to have a socially distanced catch up with an ex-colleague who had the appointment before mine.  The town/beach was scarily busy though, not ideal with my area having the second highest infection rate in Scotland! It was definitely "tapsaff" (tops off ) weather with some rather interesting sartorial choices and dubious use of fake tan on display :lol:
The weather changed mid afternoon becoming very grey and with a coldish breeze, it's supposed to rain later and there's been a couple of heavy showers. It was all the excuse I needed not to weed killer the slabs and instead I had lazy afternoon and then my sister popped by for a cuppa and a natter.
The portion of lamb curry is mainly sauce so some spinach and spuds have been added. With a toasted pitta to dip it will do me nicely.

I love it but I know it’s not for everyone…recipe would be fine without it and the yoghurt with the lime zest only would still be lush 😊

Beautiful day again here but it’s just got warmer and warmer as the afternoon has gone on 🥵

Lunch was avocado and scrambled eggs on toast (the eggs needed eating). Just had lovely dinner of wild garlic spatchcock chicken from the farm shop with HM coleslaw, HM potato wedges and salad 😋 More of the world’s most expensive strawberries with some cream for pudding in a bit…

My younger son isn't keen on coriander unless it's just a smidge cooked into something as  he gets the "soapy" taste otherwise. I just automatically sub it for curly parsley which I have a big pot of growing. That said he was fine with the "Calypso" coriander variety I grew last year which is very citrus tasting. (Note to self must get some more of this on the go!)
