    Good afternoon everyone,
Marmite spread on bread under cheese before toasting it is a favourite of mine, must try it with poached eggs. A smidge stirred into the egg mix for cheese or mushroom omelettes is very good. I've just finished my jar, I've one the cupboard but pop one in the Tesco basket this week as I like to have an "heir and a spare" lol.
Bright but cold and very windy here with more rain forecast for later, I'm hoping this is winter's final kick!
Despite the iffy recipe, the Italian sausage and ricotta cannelloni was gorgeous. Quite a lot of faff for a midweek dinner but worth it.  :D  There's not as many leftovers as there might have been as my son had two helpings and I suspect what remains will disappear for lunch! Easy meal tonight of turkey and mushroom pie using turkey and gravy leftover from Christmas and bought puff pastry. There will be spare pastry so I'll make a couple of pasties to use up some lurking fridge bits. I'm thinking ricotta, ham, spinach, spring onions and parmesan.

I fancied PB so I got some Whole Earth from the shop. I just had toast with PB and a cup of green tea.

I got a call from my bank saying there has been fraud on my account so I have been sent a new card. It's not like I've been anywhere to use my card much!

Must be something in the air, at the weekend I had a text from my credit card about a Deliveroo purchase, was it me?
Obviously not and they stopped it, they cancelled card & new one is on the way
My card has only been used for online grocery shopping & annual Council garden waste wheelie bin emptying since lock down

But I suppose we should take comfort knowing whatever system the card Co's have in place seem to work, in my case they said the trigger was delivery address did not match my home address
If I ruled the world huge police types with huge wolf dogs would've been rushing round to the address wanting food, kicked the door in, swiftly followed by deportation in chains to somewhere 'orrible >:)

It's strange isn't it during a lockdown so we both knew exactly what purchases we had made and at least the banks were on top of it.

My vaccination appointment arrived today for Easter Monday evening - perfect as it means my son doesn't have to break work to take me.  :D

My sister had her card cloned betw lock downs at the small newsagents they use when they walk the dog on a Sunday, the bank called her and refunded the £10 which they advised was probably a sample amount to see if it worked. My CC company are really good at querying a item.  Last year I had a unclear message left about oversea usage and fraud on my crackle crackle crackle credit card! and please call this number and press 1 which funny enough was very clear 🤔 i called the number on the back of my Card  and spoke to the banks fraud team, it seems it's a known fraud and relies on people not understanding which bank to call so calling the number given.  I only have one CC so only one bank to call 😁

Next time I have cheese on toast I'm going to try the marmite Caronc 🙂 I used to do pinwheels with marmite and cheese when my nephews where younger especially it I had LO puff pastry  :)  Good news re the jab  :)

My W8itrose order arrived about a hour early tonight and caught me on a zoom call 🙄 just two subs a bigger pack of vine tomatoes and diff oranges than ordered, I can live without blood oranges 🙂 just need to decide on lamb or chicken for the weekend and freeze the other

Lunch today was the last soup from the freezer this one broccoli which is a favourite 🙂 not sure if I will freezer anymore just yet although I have a turkey drumstick in the freezer from the farm shop to make soup. Dinner was going to be a HM RM from the freezer to work around a zoom call but the cottage pie and veg looked a bit freezer burnt and wasn't that tempting so I'm afraid to say it was binned as I couldn't remember when it was frozen,  I had beans on toast instead

    Good morning everyone,
I had a problem several years ago when random takeaway transactions started appearing on my Paypal account over a number of weeks. They were for small amounts in the Birmingham area usually on a Friday night. I never did find out if it was fraud or a glitch but Paypal were quick to refund my cash. Needless to say I no longer have any cards linked to that account!
Cold, wet and windy here this morning with wintry showers predicted for tomorrow. I doubt we'll get snow but the hills round about might get a coating. Boiler company are coming out tomorrow to see what all needs done so today will be making sure the whole house is clean and tidy as they will no doubt be in every room.
HM pasties for lunch and tonight it's bangers, beans and spuds of some description.

I had such a long sleep that I woke up starving. I got into bed at 8.30 last night and got up after 9 today. :D I made jacket potatoes with baked beans and veggies with some brown sauce on top. :)

I just ordered T*sspots groceries and forgot about my card not working and had to wake my husband up as he had helpfully left his bank card in his jacket instead of his wallet where it should have been!

Very dull here, but popped out earlier as I'm completing an Enduring Power of Attorney & needed some details from my volunteer place, via Essential Shopping in the Co-op
Co-op waste of time this morning, lots of empty shelves, no cauliflowers or bananas so came way empty handed.
W8rose delivery on Sunday so not a problem, it can get exciting during lock down to see what subs will arrive, nearly as good as a birthday :)

Lunch was cheese & sliced raw onion sarnie
Dinner, use up LO bits in a frittata / omelette, probably with HM chips & last of the HM coleslaw

Rainy day here although it cleared up by early evening

I played taxi tonight and took a elderly friend for her second vaccine, they had postponed hers from Tuesday due to supply issues so were playing catch-up,  it was really busy when we got there just after 6pm, a long queue of mostly elderly people think sticks, walkers and wheelchairs, it was the Pfizer one so a 15 min wait inside. I was one of several sitting in the car park next to the surgery for 45 mins hoping the parking warden had gone home as it's not free until 7pm 😬 She had a small stroke last week which caused much discussion on whether they give it to her. I'm betting a look of medical staff went home to a large glass of something tonight 🍺🍷🥃

lunch was a salmon and egg spinach salad, I had a small piece of hot smoked salmon in the freezer. I cooked  bolognese lunchtime with lots of LO bits and bobs of vegetables so just needed to cook the pasta and ping a portion for dinner
