I did the census online the other day. I thought one question on there was weird. I can't remember now.

I had a lie-in again as my husband worked nights. I had a vegan bacon sandwich with roasted cherry toms for breakfast.

I have a snack pot of houmous for lunch and I'm going to cut up some celery, carrots and cucumber to go with it. I will probably have fruit and a yoghurt too as that wouldn't fill me up.

I'm going to crack on with the census later, leave something for the descendant's to find in 2121,
I should put myself down as a Russian born astronaut just to throw them off course if they are researching Family History, make a change from a long line of Ag Labs >:)

Snap Farway 🙂 at least on my paternal side mum was the farmer's daughter who married the Ag lab son 😁 both side mainly Dorset farming stock one way or another with some escapes to the Dorset Regiment.  Mum wasn't happy when my sister found a title and money on my paternal grandmother side🙂 it seems we were descendants of the youngest daughter and the family were on the side of the king during the civil war 🙂 so both went a while ago 😁 Future generations will have FB and Instagram to get a 'true' picture of who we were 😳😬

Hope you didn't spend too much time cooking Caronc that's what you have the boy for 😁 enjoy your family meal

I decided no reason to go to town today, I can wait it out until W8itrose delivery on Thursday.  I doorstep dropped  a bag of books to a elderly friend who had a small stroke so was able to check on her for a few minutes

A prawn day 🙂 lunch was a prawn and smoke salad salad using the last of the salmon.  Dinner a prawn and pea risotto

  • Good evening. Someone did tell me I could do the census early but still haven’t got round to it, busy doing nothing 😗

Managed some fresh air at least and there was a bit of ironing to do while catching up on Masterchef - some very good folks who seem really good even at the early stages this year. Got into The Missing this evening, no idea why I didn’t catch it before. Another one you need to properly concentrate on but very good so far.

Lunch was quiche with baked beans and tonight I made Thai red chicken curry (leftover roast chicken from the freezer plus baby corn and mange tout) served with noodles.

    Good morning everyone,
I really enjoyed "The Missing" JKS, like you I missed it first time round. I've just finished watching "Bloodlands" which was very good.
We had a fab curry night yesterday though we somewhat over catered - there's enough left to cover another full meal for the two of us so that's Monday's dinner sorted.  I'm tired today as after the meal we ended up watching "Shaun of the Dead" and it was after midnight before I headed to bed promising myself a lie in today but of course my body clock decided otherwise and I woke at the usual time.
It's dull and quite chilly here today, the sun broke through earlier but doesn't seem to want to reappear.
Jerk spiced ribs and wings tonight with salad, hassleback baby spuds and HM coleslaw.

The follow on from The Missing was Baptiste they might show that again if they've repeated The Missing. I've recorded Bloodlands I just haven't got round to watching it yet.

I should have taken the opportunity of a nice day to garden but my knees have just stopped aching after  Tuesday so I used that as a excuse for a day pottering in doors and looking for fabric to make cushion covers, which may be made by Christmas  :*

I took some pre chopped onions, celery and carrots from the freezer and soften with some chorizo and mushrooms then tossed in a sachet of puy lentils and stirred in a tbsp on red wine vinegar, LOs for lunch tomorrow.  Lentils were brought on offer and kept for when I cba to cook any  :)

Dinner was a small pork joint from the freezer with roast parsnip,  mash potatoes, cabbage and carrots.  The last lot of baking potatoes came with three huge ones and one the size of a baby new potato 🙄 i used one from roast potatoes for three of us last Weekend, the one I used today made enough mash for two greedy portions, bubble and squeak with LO cabbage tomorrow 😁

  • Good evening

Yes, I enjoyed Bloodlands too, managed to keep up with that when it was on. Both series of The Missing and Baptiste all on iPlayer Brambling. I really like the Baptiste character so will have to try the series. Mind you Line of Duty started tonight so if I’m not careful I’ll get them all confused 😂

Was glad I got my lamb shoulder and boulangere potatoes ready before I went out for a walk today. Due to getting lost taking a slight detour, a 5.5 mile walk turned into 7.5! Was so glad to just pop dinner in the oven and then take my aching legs for a bath 😃

I watched Bloodlands, but I lost it a bit even though it's only four episodes. Line of Duty so far so good because I'm still with the plot

After trying unsuccessfully to get Asda shop sorted out, so many items OOS, even milk, I gave up & ordered from Iceland yesterday afternoon.
Confirmed by e mail this morning all present & correct, arriving after ten this morning. I wonder if Asda is having reorganisation troubles having just been sold?
I'm leaving my W8rose delivery as is for Sunday because it has posh stuff like EV olive oil & 30% off FR gammon joints.

Meals may change now a delivery is due, could be a salad based dinner for instance
Lunch, I've a stale crust so probably toast + something scraped on it
Dinner, as above, or could be pizza which are also on the way

I made a smoothie and had a toasted bagel this morning.

I have to go out for a chiropodist appointment soon and I was going to look in a couple of shops while I was in the area. I need some toiletries.

    Good morning everyone,
I enjoyed Baptiste as well, I think there's a new series due later this year.
My sis felt the same as you about Bloodlands Farway.
I enjoyed "Line of Duty" last night, if you like Kelly Macdonald she was very good in a series call "The Victim" which might still be on ITV hub.
Grey and quite cold here this morning looks as though it could rain though that's not forecast.
Only plan for today is to make the Sausage and ricotta cannelloni featured on Saturday Kitchen on 13th March ready to cook for dinner tomorrow, apart from that I'll see what the weather does. https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/saus ... loni_78904
Salad sarnie for lunch and curry LOs for dinner.
