Good afternoon everyone,
Hello Wednesday nice to see you posting.
Dry but not quite so sunny here today, I had a productive afternoon in the garden yesterday but I'm suffering for it today not helped by hoovering and mopping through earlier so not planning on doing much more today.
HM soup for lunch and easy meal tonight of chicken casserole from the freezer with veg and spuds.1 -
Hi Caronc.
It's pouring with rain here! I'm waiting for it to stop so I can go for a walk.0 -

Hi Wednesday
I woke up with a sore arm (note to self don't have second jab in the arm I sleep on) and every joint aching 😐 especially the knees. Thank goodness for Paracetamol 🙂 I had to work from the sofa with my legs up and thanks to the PITA I live with I'm now sporting a two inch scratch across the back of my hand following a argument over my lap and him laying on the laptop
blood was drawn 🙄
It is definitely better than the alternative but I have felt a little sorry for myself todaythanks to freezing LOs meals were HM RMs lunch was broccoli soup and dinner mushroom lasagna which was JO cannelloni recipe turned into lasagna, I had some LO green veg in the fridge which was pinged with the lasagna
you've reminded me Farway I have cake in the freezer 😁Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin2 -
Good evening everyone. Had a day in the office today, am exhausted 🤨
Lunch was freezer stash soup (butternut and chilli) with a toasted pitta. Bit more of the chicken turned into fajitas tonight. I’ve chucked the rest in the freezer before I get bored of it 😉1 -
'morning folks, bit dull but sun is peeking outI finished up with Iceland stab & ping mac / cheese MFO for dinner yesterday, actually for a quid it wasn't bad at all, followed by more slices of HM cake.Brambling said:you've reminded me Farway I have cake in the freezer 😁Up fairly early so there's a ciabatta in the Panny as basis for lunchI fancy something a bit different from cheese & tom sarnie so may go mad & grill some of the Captain's fishlike fingers, plus tartare sauceDinner, thinking of pasta bake which is not normally part of my CFO.This time however my son & his veggie family failed to spot their jars of cook in sauce were "AND bacon" so were passed across to the omnivore dustbinLooks easy enough bung in oven cooking which will probably give some LOs, make a change for me anywayEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1

Good morning everyone,
Hope you are feeling better today Brambling.
I'd take a slice of cake Farway if you've any spare? Thanks.
Overcast but dry and mild if you are out of the rather chilly breeze I hope to get some more down outdoors this afternoon and maybe wash the front windows.
LOs for lunch and tonight it's JO's masala eggs with HM flatbreads, roasted toms & halloumi for dinner.1 -
Hello everyone.
Brambling - I was fine after my Covid jab, I was quite surprised as I have heard so many people have had bad reactions. I'm glad the paracetamol worked for you. I did take some straight away after I had the jab on the tube home so maybe that was why.
I got my jab quite early as I have an underlying health condition (as the NHS text said) I'm not even sure what condition it was that qualified me but I was very grateful to get it as I only turned 45 this month.2025 GOALS

I had PB crumpets for breakfast with green tea.
I just got home from the vet as I had to pick up some meds for my dog. It always seems to be raining when I have to wait outside the vet!
I'm about to make a chickpea salad sandwich. I made the chickpea salad yesterday but I just got my Ocado order this morning so I'm going to add some sliced celery to it.2025 GOALS

I was obviously half asleep when I took prawns out of the freezer to defrost for tonight’s spaghetti with courgette and chilli, had thought there was only a single portion left in the pack. Oh well, prawn mayo jacket for lunch tomorrow 😉
Lunch today was avocado and scrambled eggs on sourdough toast 😋1
