I've got quite a bit of veg to get through, and some grated cheddar, so I'll probably have a stirfry and put cheese on top of it.

I might also turn some into soup, if I'm in the mood.

I was expecting heat too this morning and I left the fan on in the night but I woke up and it's cool with drizzle.

I have leftover cold pizza for breakfast. :)

    Good morning everyone,
Bright and sunny here but it is forecast to be pleasantly warm rather than scorching which suits me.
Brambling I have a Bosch Classixx DW which seems to now be part of their series 2 range. No bells or whistles and it's now 14 years old and so far 🤞it's been problem free. My WM is a Beko and it's around 5 years old and does a good job.
We had a lovely evening at my sister's, she had really pushed the boat out with a feast of Middle Eastern and Moroccan salads followed by a scrumptious pavlova. We home about 11 pm and I was still stuffed so watched TV for an hour or so to let it digest a bit before bed.
Today is the start of 'operation freezer defrost' assuming the spare one destined for the garage turns on okay. Food wise it's pizza for us tonight using Naan bread as a base unless I cba making dough. I ended up just having some crackers for lunch yesterday rather that bacon and eggs so that will be today's treat instead.

Just heard the local church bells.... I've heard it a couple of times before on an early Thursday morning, briefly.
This morning it was just one solitary person who rang the bell about 6x .... he's either just died, or got bored and shuffled off.... or thought "Six, that'll do them".

Drizzle to start the day here, I woke early  as it happened, so leisurely lolling & sipping tea until setting off for Click & C at @sda
Only two no shows on my list, I indicate "No Subs" for items I specifically want, the missing ones were farmhouse Stilton & some bangers that were recommended & I've not tried, maybe next time?

The rest was fine, including the titchy as I suspected dark choc Bounty bars. Never mind, it'll fix the craving for another decade or so
Plus frozen Pizzas so next time there will not be a space where I thought they were
PN, with all the stair plodding it must work off a few Pizza calories?
Next to try is W8rose olive oil crisps as per Pyxis, I've plenty of time to amend my order before next Sunday
Just hope the posh fat fish fingers are in stock then

Lunch was use up the last stale slices in a toasted cheese sarnie
Dinner, salad I think, cheesy baked spud + use up boiled eggs.
I need to check if my own tomatoes are ripe enough, they are red but I think this variety needs to be really ripe for full tom flavour

Luckily I picked all the ripe berries yesterday before this rain, duly stewed with one windfall apple but still not enough for a decent crumble but I'm slowly getting there

Bailey_Babe / Caronc thanks for the Beko comments, the online reviews are also good 🙂 I'm thinking for a the price of the Bosch I could get a Beko DW and a second small freezer 🤔

It was drizzling most of the day just enough steady rain to keep the garden happy although  I swear I could see the weeds growing as well.

I had a invite for a sandwich and a catchup with my sister for lunch, tuna mayo and salad baguette with a slice of delicious courgette, carrot and orange cake my nephew makes a very light cake 🙂 with a few berries on the side to offset the cake and a taste of his raspberry brownie (it would have been rude not to)

Dinner was the last of the courgette pie with salad but I have six more courgettes in the fridge so I'm tempted to make the cake tomorrow as well as something else courgette based for freezer

I'll send you some Brighton Blue to replace the Stilton  Farway  :)

I had a smoothie for breakfast. Almond milk, banana and blueberries.

I think I'm going to have  a Quorn fishless fillet with veg for lunch. I'm having an early lunch as I've been awake since 6 this morning. I'm going to make chips in the oven too.

Just porridge with yoghurt & honey stirred in for breakfast. Unable to add usual banana 'cos the C & C ones are greenish tinged & I prefer ripe ones.
Only a matter of time so no problem. If it's my lucky day my neighbour who loathes ripe bananas will give me a couple

Sun's out & feels pleasant now the humidity has gone & with a slight breeze
Lunch, may change, now ND is no longer getting fresh food for me I've run down my bread and will attempt to defrost a couple of slices for a sarnie
Sometimes I've found DF bread is instantly stale on DFing, hence lunch plan may change
My plan B is bake a PB baguette, plenty of them in stock
Plan C, get the Panny working & make a loaf
    Plan D, s0d it!!! & do without ;)

Dinner, could be frozen breaded cod fillet, peas & HM chips, or CBA & nuke a MFO

@Farway you could modify plan A and toast the sarnie.
