Lunch was egg and cheese salad dinner was courgette and rice filo pie with asparagus and HG French beans. I forgot I usually half the pie recipe so I'll be eating it for a few meals 🙄 there were enough French beans for a couple of mealsLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin3 -

gt568 your 3 posts recently are imo disgusting. You have certainly put me off posting on a thread when the regulars think your comments are OK about a well thought of member. I sincerely hope your vile comments are wrong

I disappeared because I'm like that. Change is unsettling and I find it difficult to re-engage at times.
All OK here.... been eating nothing spectacular as I've not got my cooking dishes here, very little freezer space, have to work round other people if they're about, so it's easiest just to keep it simple and nuke something. I've had a couple of fish finger toasties, four burgers/cheese, an Iceland ready meal. I've just popped out to buy a pack of four burgers and some flatbreads.
I've been at the storage this morning, I boxed up 5 very small boxes of "misc cr4p" and three small boxes of ... well, something, can't really remember now. These had been in aldi bag for lifes as they're easy to fill and move about - but they were cluttering up the storage, whereas boxes are stackable to a greater degree. I removed from storage "dangerous things". I should've done it before but sat back with a guilty/fearful mindset. I knew that somewhere in there there was a part used gas bottle for refilling lighters, there were some lighters kicking about, there were some nail varnish bottles, there might've been a couple of other aerosol type things.... so as I was sorting through things today I removed all those items that "might be dangerous" - with more superhot weather predicted and with none of the above having exploded in the past I was mentally ready to go and get them out
I've also just lugged back to my room about 20-30 microwave rice pouches and the final 10 noodle pots. These need to be eaten, but, when I first moved I'd just popped them into storage a couple of days before the move as I didn't want to overburden myself with stuff to lug up two flights of stairs on day 1, especially as I didn't even know what the room looked like until I got the key
