I'm jealous of your courgettes. I had my first one today, teeny tiny slices on my salad. It was pretty :D. And tasted nice. I've also realised that my carrots are now big enough to start eating. Tiny, but big enough to eat.

My courgettes are taking over the garden  :) next year maybe less plants or staggered planting 🤔 I given 10 away and I'm worried what I'll find when I move a leaf  :D. But you've reminded me that I should have baby carrots too

I'm just drinking my glass of water and I'm about to have beans on toast for breakfast.

i need a hour lunch break or wait until Saturday to go back and buy my DW but I did buy a small chest freezer from A*gos today, it can't be delivered until the 5th August but at least it's done.  It's black and meant to be quiet so I'm hoping I can hide it in the dining room  :)  my sister doesn't understand the need for one but as I tried to explain the cheapest and easiest way to CFO is more freezer space especially as one of my drawers is full of HM RMs and I stuffed courgette based food in the last couple of day.  I didn't mention my plan to get a decent meat delivered  :)
Welcome to two freezers world, very useful for CFO, especially with the CV around and who knows about another lock down? And planned decent meat delivery as well
I've still got some DM in the freezer so not restocked yet, I'll concentrate more on lamb next time I think and blow the expense

Last night's @sda special bangers were excellent, very juicy, with no fat dribbling out, although of no consequence to me they are Gluten free as well.
I cooked them in the oven while the HM chips were in the AF
I could've put them both in AF together but timing could be a problem and I was not sure just how much fat there would be from the bangers, nt much as it happened

Bit dull but warm, out after breakfast finishing off the apple trees pruning.
A few apples fell off so I'm going to stew them, with yet more ripe blackberries spotted.
Because I've my massive crumble still on the go I'll probably freeze this next lot, IMO one can never have too  much B & A

Lunch, couple of slices out defrosting, using the grated cheese stored in the new gadget, probably with sliced tom, not one of mine, use up SM one
Dinner, I'm defrosting salmon fillets, only need one but it's a pack from Ice£land, not as the picture but layered & stuck frozen together
One of the problems buying on line and having to trust images / descriptions. regardless of how they taste I'll never buy them again
I'll cook both in foil in oven so not wasted, just a PIA

It'll be salad with that, probably HM AF chips, if my ordered but not available tinned spuds were available I'd have used them.
Another pot hole in the on line shopping trail

    Good afternoon everyone,
I haven't ventured to the veg patch to check on my courgettes as it's another wet day. I must get some picked over the next couple of days before they get massive.
I'm having a quiet day as my balance is very iffy. I'm hoping not doing a huge amount and an early bed tonight settle it. Dinner just needs heating up as my son cooked an aubergine and potato curry yesterday evening as it always tastes better the next day. We'll have some pitta and salad with it. Lunch was HM broth from the freezer with a buttered roll to dip.

I know what you mean about the lamb Farway I'm planning to do the same  :)

another easy food day lunch was the last of the turkey in a wrap with piccalilli.  Dinner was an omelette with a couple of rashers of bacon, mushrooms and fried tomato mainly due to a long gossip whilst putting the bin out which was disrupted when my neighbour's dog saw his lordship as he came to grumble at me 🙀
