We've had showers this afternoon but nice and gentle ones which should hopefully benefit the garden more,
That was because PN & I had it all, it chucked it down here, bouncing off the pavement rain
Dull this morning and a bit chilly, luckily I've got a YS Asd@ mince & onion pie for one defrosting for dinner. Another frozen item just past it's first freezer birthday
My ripening strawberries are still stuck on pink, wish they'd get a move on as I'm hoping they have more flavour than last year's poor show, different variety this time

Lunch, think I'm going for dull weather CBA crisp sarnie
Dinner, the above pie, with HM AF chips & nuked frozen bullet peas.
These are ND Tesc* ones, normally I have Ice£and and they are nice but the T ones are bullets.
The rain has still not swollen my own pea pods yet so pod can't go pop, but beyond mange tout now

    Good afternoon everyone,
Warm and sunny here as long as you are out of the wind which is decidedly chilly!
I had voluntary admin to deal with earlier but as soon as I got clear with that I was outside and managed to finish planting up my wall baskets. That's all the baskets done now just the squillion pots and planters to work on now..
I received a surprise gift yesterday from my elder son - two packs of padron peppers and two boxes of yeast sachets. 😊 One pack of the peppers was roasted with oil and salt as part of dinner last night, my they were delicious. The other pack will get similar treatment later in the week. Aubergine and potato curry for dinner tonight which we'll have with brown rice, salad and pitta. Lunch was a long seeded roll filled with ham, lettuce and peppered crowdie cheese with tomatoes on the side and a plum and a flat peach to follow. The peach was delicious but the plum rather hard and wooly so I'll probably cook the rest of the punnet to soften them a bit.

I had a jam sandwich for breakfast and took a pack of Doritos out to sit in the car for an hour. This is a little spot I know of that's entirely free parking and unlimited time - and few go there/know about it.

I'm parked in front of £700k flats, impairing their view with my dented 15 year old vehicle :)

There's one for sale at the moment, this shows the flats and where I parked.  Flat on the left, 2-3 beds, 1st floor, is £760k.

Maybe not enough rain Farway, I had to water tonight 😐

So you're be booking a viewing PN 😁At that price they don't look like Sandbanks so Canford ?

i potted up some herbs in a container after work, my herbs don't seem to like where they are currently planted, well only the rosemary, chives and marjoram are doing well and ordered some dwarf raspberries for me and my sister from your side of the border Caronc 🙂 I'll just have to remind my sister to pay me 🙄

lunch was a smoke mackerel and egg salad, which used up the last of the fish.  Dinner was the last of the cold beef with chips and stir fried peppers, onions and mushrooms.  Tomorrow may be a double gammon day 🙂

Weird food day for me .Jam on toast for brekky, n mini veg pakoras on buns for tea .They were slightly burned in the air fryer, even though I stuck to the instructions 🙄
That's a lovely view PN .I might drive to the beach for a car picnic this week 😁

I'm so glad the sun is out again. It felt like autumn here yesterday.

I think I will have a smoothie and toast for breakfast. :)

    Good afternoon everyone,
We have your Autumn weather today Wednesday! It's supposed to get quite wet later and it's far from warm. Still a day off from planting won't do my hands any harm, my dodgy wrist and middle finger has been quite painful today after hauling out tricky roots from a huge pot yesterday.
Last night's curry was lovely but terribly spicy even with yoghurt added and a glass of milk it was still on the too hot side for me. My son had used a dried home grown chilli which must have packed a huge punch for it's size.
As it is chilly here today it was soup and crackers for lunch. Dinner tonight it's Naan bread pizza with coleslaw and salad.

Fairly busy morning, tending the volunteer border, took over three hours with all the watering, it does look much improved though I do say say myself.
Needs rain desperately, it's like dust an inch down, supposed to rain from tomorrow onwards

back to late lunch of cheese & onion crisp sarnie, followed by mini fruit pie & a co-codamol tablet for my back

I had big plans for dinner involving baked spuds & salad but now  nuked MFO Chinese is more likely with my aching back
However I think I'll take beef joint out to defrost, if the weather is turning as forecast that should do fine

I thought I can't put the heating on as it's June!

Naan bread pizza sounds nice. :)
