I had tofu scramble and salad on toast and lots of water after my walk. It's very warm here and it's going to get hotter.

    So far today I've had:
    Chicken cup a soup/croutons and 2 flatbreads.
    1 bread crust with jam.
    1 banana.
    4 squares of chocolate.
1 pack of doritos (er, or was it 2?)
Hand full of pastille sweets.... got another bag from the car, counted those remaining and there are four more in the box out there..... I know if/when I go to the OOD Warehouse again I'll be searching for those again!

I think that's it. Out of flatbreads, out of bread.  Have cucumber and tomatoes still to use, so will be buying another loaf in about 2 days' time no doubt.

I ate the bacon lunch time with a fried egg and toast.  Dinner ended up late after a couple of hours digging in the garden enjoying the sun followed by a half hour chatting to a neighbour we were a safe distance apart as were his lordship and her dog, he was teasing him by just being out of reach from his lead 🙄

i finally managed to dig up an old dead rhododendron which was in a awkward position in the front garden there was a moment when the branch I was tugging broke and left me suddenly sitting, luckily I'm well padded and only my pride hurt.  Unfortunately having just tried to get off the sofa I think it could be having the last laugh, definitely some twinges in my back as well as scratched arms 😐

Dinner once I got in was cheese on toast with piccalilli

Going off topic for a nanosecond.....Pastures, how are you doing? Have been worrying about you a bit. Any luck now that the housing market has opened up a bit?
Do pop over  to t’other side when you have a mo.

Back on topic........have you tried toasted sandwich bags? The ones made from silicon, that you pop a ‘raw’ sandwich into, and then put in  a toaster.

I’ve used the ones from Lakeland for a few years, and they are great. (Have tried cheaper ones, but they aren’t as good, or as big.)
Plus the bags are re-usable, for countless times. You just wash them well. I put mine into the dishwasher.

Dull day outside, but on a brighter note no Ratty signs this morning.
I've had to remove all possible & potential food items, including fruit bowl and tomatoes and now everything is in tough plastic or glass containers maybe Ratty will move on? Hope so, unless R decides that Fairy DW tablets are gourmet rat fodder :/
I've added a 3 litre lock top box to my Morrie C & C to store my fresh fruit in
Normally of course I'd be mooching round £land for a suitable container but I'm not risking my health for a couple of quid

Lunch today will be yet another BLT sarnie
Dinner is use up, LO steamed veg in omelette type frittata, possibly add some HM AF chips and maybe bit of salad

I've had toast and a banana so far. I think I am going to have a veg burger and a big salad later as it's so hot out. My face was really red when I got in from my walk. :D

It looks back to normal today, lots more people around, just some wearing masks.
