PN please tell me you take multivitamins 🤔
    No. Never have :)

Also, to go out and buy some is adding "risk" into the equation as it could be that shop that is handing out the virus :)   Every purchase is a risk, delivered or collected.  I've "never been ill" as a rule; I'm one of those people who doesn't get sick - and I've always eaten badly, just never this badly before, nor for this long :)  I am trying, a bit - with my cucumber in sandwiches - and the tomatoes - occasional bananas and tinned mandarins.

For tea I didn't make up the mash (could still decide at 3am to do it) ... I had a few more sweeties instead.

Cheeky extra Iceland delivery arrived and was mostly there except some chicken I wanted for a curry today, mango chutney, mayonnaise, tartare sauce and steak crisps ....all things I can add to my normal Asda order on a Sat so just need to play with the meal plan again.

Today I am making some creamy IKEA meatballs which I'll have with some mash asparagus and some cranberry which is the nearest I have to the lingonberry they serve in the restaurants. Not made them before but they look easy enough

Vitamin wise I do take high dose Vit D,  Vit B12 and calcium all recommended by the doc recently. I do eat pretty well I think with the odd lapse day of course but I'm not convinced I hit the 5 a day often enough as I have a fairly small appetite so only really eat a main meal once a day with maybe a soup or sandwich if Im peckish

Have a good day all and stay safe

I take a daily multi vitamin, my supply is on auto renew thus only effort for me is swallowing one. I take one because I know my diet is not as balanced as it should be so the MV hopefully will fill in any gaps
Sunny bit windy & cool, thus I'll not be using my new freedom to roam hither & thither today thank you :)
PN, fingers crossed the renting / housing market starts to ease for you. There was talk, speculation really, that holiday homes AKA caravans could be eased. Guessing in your area there are a few of them about. May not suit but at least your own temporary space / kitchen / loo etc
Brambling, Brighton Blue, oddly enough I nearly added some to my Abel & C list, but decided to wait until my cheese arrangements are properly sorted, although one can never have too  much blue cheese IMO. I've tried Sussex Charmer but can't recall the taste. Oh dear, just checked, they do mail order. ;)

With all the cheese talk lunch today is grilled Ogleshield on toast, with some HM chutney and maybe splosh of Worcester sauce
Dinner, FR lamb chump steak out to defrost, I'll grill that & have it with carrots, steamed Savoy cabbage & broccoli + Aunty B's roast spuds.
Another thing I miss with not mooching around shops, I bet there are new spuds somewhere in town

    Good afternoon everyone,
Some tempting sounding cheese Farway, I'm not going to investigate as I know what will happen😉.
I don't take any supplements as I think in the main over a month my diet is varied enough and I eat enough F&V not to need them. I used to take iron tablets on my Dr's advice but now I'm of a certain age no longer need them. 😊
My son and his fiancee got up the road safely and the journey took much less time than they thought it might as the roads are so quiet. They will have a socially distanced visit over the next few days as they need to stash some outdoor stuff in my garage so at least I'll get see them even if it isn't a proper get together.
The southern style chicken we cooked in the air fryer last night was excellent, I'm definitely a convert to all things air fried now! Lunch today was brie on toast with baby plum tomatoes and grapes. Tonight I'm cooking 'green pasta' aka tagliatelle with a broccoli, spinach and pesto sauce.

Farway the farm that makes Sussex Charmer has a cafe which surprisingly specialises in all thing cheese (and cake) it does a very nice cheese on toast and it's easy to convince my sister to walk the part of the south down link which goes along the back of their car park 😁 I may have to see if it's on sell in the market again on Saturday  :)

I do like the 'fried' chicken made in the air fryer Caronc I use the fine bread crumbs from the world food aisle in Tesco I think they're Polish? And favour then with herbs or spices, I tend to buy the boned thighs  :p  HM scotch eggs work well in there as well using the same breadcrumbs and I skip the egg and flour, just roll the sausage in the crumb.

His lordship tried to join my Skype call today, luckily it was audio only, I had to lie and say I didn't know why I had to drop off and reboot rather than admit that the cat had walked across the keyboard and now the keyboard doesn't  work 🙀🙄. And tonight he joined a zoom call I was using my tablet and I'm told it's rather disconcerting to hear my voice and just see the cats face 😁

Lunch today was bacon and egg in another of the Mediterranean pitas, it was a cold boiled egg so no yolk spillage.  Dinner was bubble and squeak using LO mash and cabbage with white pudding from the freezer and runner beans,  Not exactly a healthy day more like a breakfast day 🤫

when i I can shift myself I'll have to rummage for ideas for tomorrow as I seem to have misplaced my meal plan.

Mystery meal day. I am anticipating my first delivery from Abel & C today.
Should they arrive before lunch then it's organic BLT sarnie for lunch. If not it's a cheese & cuc sarnie
Dinner, if A & C have delivered by then it's organic pork bangers, ditto bacon, fried FR eggs, some baked beans & HM AF chips

Seeing all the talk of chicken in Air fryer, I've got a frozen posh chicken portion, I'll have to ponder cooking that in the AF.
Normally I would just bung it in the oven but maybe it deserves better than a bung in?

    Good morning everyone,
I think I know the crumbs you mean Brambling, if it's ones I'm thinking off I have couple of packs in the cupboard. Scotch eggs are definitely on my "air fryer to do" list :)  The "fried" chicken we made just had a flour/seasonings coating which worked really well.
I'd certainly recommend trying your chicken portion in the AF Farway, the thighs we cooked when it first arrived had a smashing crispy skin but were still lovely and juicy inside.
All being well my nephew will get home this evening so we have a family WhatsApp catch up planned, no quiz or anything just a cuppa and a natter.
It's grey and chilly here today, if it stays dry this afternoon I'll wrap up and have a potter in the garden. I feel I'm way behind this year but I think I say that every year!!
LO pasta for lunch then haddock, Jersey Royals, green beans & peas for dinner tonight.

Farway Hope your delivery arrives for lunch :)  had a look on the Abel and Cole website some gorgeous stuff on there but bit on the pricey side for my budget though sadly nice for a treat maybe. I know its not PC either but whether its free range or organic is not an issue for me as long as it tastes good  :# I do like their fish selection though I hear our fishermen are really struggling so would like to support them if I can

Brambling maybe you set up a zoom party for your cat and all his friends :)

Food yesterday did not go to plan as the pork and beef mince I had grabbed from the freezer did not defrost in time so I had a chuck together of baby potatoes cheese and beans. So meatballs back on the menu today which I need to do soon as they need to sit in the fridge for 2 hours before cooking ....good job I read the recipe! Feeling a bit left out with no air fryer but Im trying be sensible as the last thing I need in my kitchen is another gadget....lets see how long that lasts

Have a good day all and stay safe

I've had toast, nuts and fresh fruit. I've also had lots of green tea as it feels very chilly still!

I'm making a Mexican beans and rice thing later.
