Lol I used to use my sandwich toaster for various things but never thought about griddling veg in it. I suppose the wee Foreman grill that was my dad's would be good. That said the bbq gave the veg a gorgeous flavour.
Glad your SIL is through her chemo Brambling, must be a relief for everyone🙂. I with you re pineapple on pizza but I love gammon and pineapple.
The tacos were scrumptious and the bbq veg salsa worked really well with them. There's 1/2 a pack of taco shells left so I think we'll be having them again soon. I've some chicken thighs defrosting for tomorrow for either a stir fry or griddled with salad. We'll see how warm it is tomorrow and decide from there as it was distinctly chilly this evening and to drop to 2C in the early hours!

I've eaten a ton of "bad things" today; I doubt I can remember half of them.... I'll try.
2 flatbreads/paste/tomato. 1 flatbread alone. 1 cup a soup. Many Rocky biscuits. 1 Pot Rice.

It feels like I ate more than that, I'm getting very confused now about what I ate/when :)

I bet you lot thought I couldn't keep up this endless ridiculous food eating for long didn't you :)

The alternatives are: 1/ eat only fresh fruit, and go out and get it. 2/ give in and use the hideously grubby/coughed in/touched kitchen area where the lockdown ignorer entertains passing friends. 3/ eat very expensive hot/prepared/delivered meals.

I do wish I had a box of crisps (32 packs or so)... I know the out of date place has some, but I don't want those ones (e.g. Walkers wasabi nonsense).  I got my W's ketchup box of 32 from there last month... but they've sold out.

Good news from my brother is my SIL finished her chemo just before lockdown, she still needs antibody treatment but the specialist is happy with her progress, she and my brother just have to stay shielded and hope to avoid CV19

I rarely comment on here but have read the posts every day for years lol! So glad to hear your SIL is doing well and hope that she stays shielded.

    Good news Brambling.x

I love pineapple on a pizza, along with jalapenos. It's my fav!

I have had 2 crumpets with marg and a soya yoghurt.

I'm going to do some stretching and will have some fresh fruit and green tea in about an hour. My husband bought some huge grapes from a Turkish supermarket.

I have leftover chickpea salad for lunch and I will make a tomato and chipotle seasoning soup as well. I was thinking that I never use the chipotle stuff and it's been in my cupboard for ages!

I have some middle aisle L's pasty folder things, pastry in, add filling, close up & seals & pretty crimps. I may have to look into that, normally I'd bung them in oven to cook but as CFO who cares what it looks like?

I'll use PN's nuker method for the cheese sauce.

For making a pasty in a sandwich toaster, the filling would need to already be cooked, just like in a piemaker.  Raw pastry, cooked/cold filling.... it won't cook raw fillings in time.

Glad you're still getting use of my sauce, it makes it perfectly every time, with complete control... and is lump free.  So/too easy.

Current status: Still LL free... that was 3 nights out in a row, and still out :)
