Don't quote... LL's up ... in kitchen ... and coughed.
Sounded a bit of a nasty one.  Just one double cough so far... but that's how it starts isn't it.

PN often a cough is just a cough, especially first thing in the morning when we have to clear our lungs.

Not when you're somebody who goes out mixing/mingling and socialising and staying out for 2-3 days .... it isn't.  Every breath that woman takes is a potential virus brought home from an unknown source and unknown assortment of strangers.....

Today breakfast was one of the tomato sandwiches I made yesterday.
Lunch was half a pot of salmon paste & 3 baby plum tomatoes.  That paste's growing on me... it was never bad, but it's becoming more of a joy to eat :)

Next time I shop I'll probably get 6 pots.... I might try a bit, mixed in with some of those many many packets of cheesy instant mash I bought from the OOD Warehouse (brand/Morrisons).

6 pots of salmon and 3 of chicken I think, next time.  Might glance at fresh fruit... before scurrying off to eat my processed foods :)

IF ... IF ... the weather stays nice and IF Lidl have any fruit offers ... I MIGHT ... take my daily walk to Lidl and get their paste pots and cheapo fruit.  Maybe. It's a 3 mile round walk there/back I think.  Not today, that's on the "Maybe List" that might occur in the next 1-3 weeks, as a vague idea/plan.

Food faffing today ...I do that a lot :) To be honest I don't think Ive thought about food as much ever in my life as I seem to now or spent as much money on it....mmm that needs to stop. Anyway brekky was easy some left over carbonara. Dinner was going to be sausage casserole but I didn't get it in the slow cooker soon enough so its become a use up day instead. I have some lovely tiger bread so thinking maybe that with a caesar salad and a nice glass of wine :) watch this space though could change again

Yay, must be beginners luck but I've got an Iceland delivery for tomorrow after 5. There were no slots yesterday but when I looked this morning there were two slots later tomorrow. No idea how it works but it worked for me. Now fingers crossed the £1 walnut cake is in stock :D.
Came to nearly 60 quid by the time I'd finished but I wanted to ensure it could be a one off shop if needed
And now the ND has dropped off my T*sco shopping, I'll not starve this weekend, especially as she substituted nutty milk choc bars for some choc wafers. I like that sort of substitution
I'll shuffle the freezer contents to make space sometime  before the Ice£and delivery

Dull but warm out, fingers crossed for rain, it;'s not rained for nearly a month now & the garden needs a good rain

Lunch was LO turkey wit LO stuffing sarnie
Dinner will be the LO cooked veggies, in sort of omelette [frittata] with some baked beans & the very last handful of the frozen French fries
Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens

    Good afternoon everyone,
My ex SIL and her partner seem to have CV19, both are quite poorly but not horribly unwell so fingers crossed.
It's a lovely day here though a cardi is still advisable. I've been pottering about doing less than exciting things like changing my bed, laundry and finalising the grocery order that is coming tomorrow but plan to get into the garden after my snooze.
Earlier I skinned, boned and diced some chicken thighs and they are now marinating in harissa, yoghurt, lemon, garlic and thyme to make kebabs for dinner. I think my son fancy lighting  the bbq but we'll see. Lunch was some of the sourdough with a scotch egg and salad.
