A warmer morning but still a bit chilly, CH still not clicking on so gas bill should be returning to summer time now.
The SC gammon turned out as good as before, so today's meals centre around LO gammon
    Gammon sarnie for lunch
    Gammon salad for dinner
May even be enough pickings for some kind of omelette with that + LO cooked veggies tomorrow

Brambling, I'm another missing the YS reductions, I was never very lucky with W8rose fresh meat, wrong time of day, but still have one of their prepacked YS ham joints in the freezer.
Freezer is running down now, loads still in there but gaps are appearing which I'd normally just top up with whatever YS I found but this time it'll be with whoever I can find with a delivery slot from what I've been reading on the forums
Only "task" today is write my short list for ND shopping on Thursday, at least knowing it's form T*sco I can compile it form the on line details

Today I've had: 2 jam sandwiches, some wine gums, half a pack of stuffing mix in a mug, noodle pot.

I did get dressed to go out to the shop, but the list only had on it bread, paste pots, tin of peas, samosas... and then I thought I'd leave it another day as I've still two slices left from the last loaf.... so managed to avoid going out.

Before, with that list, I'd be having a bigger round robin of food shops to see who has what... I'd loiter and linger in shops.  I'd have got the paste and peas from Mr T, bread from 4ldi ... and possibly wandered into L1dl and Home Bargains, or a Poundland.  Make a day of it so to speak... but now I am only visiting one shop and getting the lot... so I got stuck at "Mr T has the better peas and paste; 4ldi has the better bread + it has samosas", so couldn't decide which to choose.

    Evening all  :)

Back to ground hog day, working until 6.30pm.  We had a very boring lunchtime telephone conference, well the regional director talked about CV19 and gas and oil prices 😴 he's an American so although our region is Europe, Middle East and Africa it seemed to be very USA bias 🙄. So many more better ways to spend my lunch break

my sister has just phone to torment me as my nephew is making profiteroles, I told her he can do the same as the couriers do leave them on the doorstep, ring bell and step back.  I'm not sure if my sister will let him share them 😢. She had been speaking to my eldest sister so was sharing gossip family news, probably some Chinese whispers as well

lunch was a quickly air fried black bean burger from the freezer.  Dinner was lambs liver simply dusted with flour and fried with LO root veg mash, braised peas and lettuce using the last of the peas and a sad little gem lettuce

I realised when rummaging in the freezer for the liver and burger that my freezer audit is completely out of date, both the contents and what drawer they are in  :|. I cba to do it tonight it may get put off until Friday so I can write a shopping list for the weekend

'morning all, a hint of frost outside this morning, I was happy that the CH clicked back on, sun's out now so should warm up soon. If it gets warm enough I'll sort out my wall baskets ready for dwarf French beans

I'm working on compiling their online basket at the moment, still virtually mooching in the RM frozen food aisle, with the choc + biscuit section yet to be examined  so not yet ready to plunge into finding a slot.
I get priority age slot at W8rose but minimum order is £60 whereas  Icel@nd is £35, mind you with W8rose prices £60 maybe same items for £35 at Icel@land

Lunch will be last of the gammon in a sarnie with HM chutney, with same LO bone problem with no peas for soup, bone into bin again
I've taken LO XCFO sliced, roast turkey out to defrost, with intention of using up the LO stuffing in full on roast dinner tonight. The planned use up omelette is postponed until tomorrow

#metoo :D My spreadsheet is way OOD as well, and it may never be correct again.
What I need is an app that I can speak & it types & sorts into a sensible list.  "Alexa, salmon is in drawer 2", etc.

I popped out early, dropped off my recycling & bin items (one week's rubbish for me is about the size of a crisp packet).  Then it was off to 4ldi.  Bought: loaf, 3 jars of salmon paste, smallish punnet of baby plum tomatoes, pack of 4 samosas.  It's not hard to guess what the menu is for the next 2-3 days :)

I'd expected a queue at 4ldi, there wasn't one.  There were very few customers in the shop, but some social distancing not going on. 1/ I turned to the end of an aisle to find a gaggle of two separate groups, with kids in tow, chatting over the freezer area.... 2/ I encouintered one of those at the till.  I left a big gap behind my bits before I put down the "next customer please" strip, then a woman with a 4-5 year old loose child came behind me... then sent the child down to get "flowers for nanny", so the child had to come right past me (could've waited until I was paying), then back past me... and she shoved the "next customer please" strip right up against my few bits and started loading the conveyor.... she gained nothing from that at all, no gain in time.  I glared at her.  :)  I wasn't going to "point out the obvious" to somebody clearly too thick to already understand it.  I was very tempted .... very tempted.... to do a big faux cough into my elbow... a huge 'un, but I figured she'd not notice/care and it'd make the till worker nervous.
