My sis had this issue with a previous neighbour's cat who was being well looked after at home but nipping into hers to scoff her timid puss's grub even though they were both being fed the same SM option.
Glad it was third time lucky JenL
Yep it's poncy PN but I like the Greg/John combo and think they are good with the contestants. Saw them live at a "Good Food Show" a few years ago and really liked how they came over (and I wouldn't throw JT out on a cold night lol, lol). I'm not generally a fan of "reality" TV shows but have a soft spot for this having watched it from the very beginning back in Lloyd Grossman days.

Good morning,
Lumpy rain continues as does the cold but there have been brief (very) spells of sunshine. Still lots of purplish dark clouds around so more bad weather to come I think.
I've had a reasonably productive morning so far tackling some chores, laundry and changing my bed. Time for a much needed sit down and ☕️ before starting round two!
Lunch is a tbc fridge rake and dinner tonight will be HM turkey broth with crusty bread.

I had to take my little cat to the vet last night. She jumped up and missed the table (twice) and she was limping dramatically.
She is on painkillers for a week before they do any x-rays although I think I will take her back if she is not okay in a couple of days. She keeps jumping up and doesn't seem to be in much pain. They think it is her hip. She is 10 years old now although she still looks like a kitten, for some reason!

I just had HM red lentil, potato and carrot soup with toast and a cup of tea for brunch.
I had grilled mushrooms and tomatoes with the Richmond vegan sausages and brown sauce yesterday and I might do the same later today.2025 GOALS

Hope your kitty is okay Wednesday, like us all it sounds as though she doesn't bounce as well as she used to🤗3

More rain & no YS in L's mooch. Plus my expected parcel arrived this morning while I was out, so needs a trip to sorting office on Thursday when I'm in town. Brambling, I never spotted the 1/3 off gammon, typical, last week was the one week I never went in W8rose
I'll have a look on Thursday, fingers crossed for a YS one
PN, hope you get a proper hot meal meal soon, doesn't sound a pleasant situationLunch, still on the cheese toastiesDinner, was nearly pork chop, but decided to go with the last salmon fillet fried in EVO + butter [defrosting now], nuked LO mash & some salady bitsI'll get a FR pork chop out later to defrost for tomorrowEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens4 -

Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?5 -
I hope little cat is ok Wednesday 😿. I spoke to a friend earlier and she came home to a blue tit flying around the kitchen 🙀, her 16 year old cat is on 5 or 6 tablets a day for various complaints and has about 4 teeth left, I told her it must be the new tablets giving her a new lease on life. Luckily the bird flew out of the window as soon as it was opened
Busy day at work and I didn't get home until after 7pm, I was met by both cats 🙄 and one of my neighbours walking her Jack Russell who goes by the wonderful name of Colin 🐶 she was threatening to knock on next door and suggest she rehome the kitten as she thinks it's left alone too much, it usually accompanies Colin of his walks. I'm not getting involved in that conversation 😕it's the little girls' cat and there's no doubt they love each other 🙂
I had a quick trip to W8itrose for milk lunchtime and picked up a lovely thick Dorset Barnsley lamb chop reduced to half price from their meat counter. I'm hoping the Dorset lamb is as good as it as last year when I stocked up whenever I saw it reduced as it's not cheap but worth it 🤤 I've popped it in the freezer for now it will do for a weekend roast 🙂.
There were cakes and savoury bits in the office today for a couple of birthdays so it was a naughty lunch 🐷🐷 and I brought my Nasi Goreng home and it made a quick dinner. No idea what I'm going to take for lunch tomorrow as I CBA to make soup tonight, I'll rummage in the freezer but there's not many RMs left in thereLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin6 -
