Anyone have experience of TPO?

I did check coverage, using their coverage checker. It said "very good service" for both indoors and outdoors (I'm in West London). I even tried an old Three SIM from my wife's PAYG phone, as I knew that TPO used the Three network, and that was also fine. So I really don't see what else I could have done
Now I'm wondering how on earth I can try out another network without committing to spend before I even know that I'll be able to use it.
????
There is no way for the service provider to know if there is something about your home that stops the signal reaching inside and so you can't force a return or refund (on that basis) unless their policy allows a change of mind.0 -
Fantastic sim only deal, perfect for me at £6.99 a month...BUT....my address (new build) is not on their database (only a few house numbers are showing) and TPO can't enter my address in manually!
The customer adviser has just told me I can't join TPO because of this - absolute madness!0 -
My property has existed since 2011, always with the same postcode, but their system doesn't recognise it. Fortunately I found a better deal elsewhere.0

You've had a lucky escape. Their prices may be good but customer service is terrible. Check the reviews on TrustPilot.
Plusnet do some good Sim only deals at the moment.0 -
Hi all, looking for some feedback/assistance with The People's Operator as their website is useless for anyone not already a customer: No phone number, contact us without having to give a TPO mobile number, nothing.
I clicked on the link provided on MSE and was taken straight to a page asking for my bank details. I don't know anything about this company and am reluctant to give them this information without at least an idea of how to contact them in the event of a problem.
Any help gratefully appreciated.0 -

If you click on "Complaints" you get this:
Please call our customer services department on 0845 225 2505, 0333 313 7760
Which I guess will work for non-complaints, too?

Ah. I did not try that, thank you, Mike. :T0

Call the 0333 number, it is always cheaper than calling the premium rate 0845 number.
For after-sales enquiries it is illegal for a premium rate 0845 number to be offered.0 -
Since you two have been so helpful, I thought you might like a laugh at my expense. Turns out OH's phone is so old no-one wants to know, certainly not 3 or EE networks providers.
Back to the drawing board though I have to say, when one eventually gets through to TPO, the customer service is stellar. 3G here we come (OH kicking and screaming all the way)0 -
I recently got the £4.99 MSE deal with TPO - excellent deal, smooth switchover unlike some feedback but when I went to France last week the mobile data wouldn't work even though I followed the TPO instructions to switch off auto roaming etc. It worked perfectly in Switzerland. I went on a live chat and they said they don't have deals with any particular companies abroad. So it looks like you don't know till you get anywhere what kind of service is available.0
