Cauliflower and pasta cheese tonight, with bacon bits. Always surprises me that it uses 3 different pans! Some for lunch tomorrow and an extra serving in the freezer.

Then spotted a very ripe banana so made a banana loaf plus threw in a handful of raspberries. Very nice!

M7S fish and chips last evening - OH found them down to £1 a pack so a very MSE meal!

Also bought their 3 for £7 which includes half a cooked chicken as well as a BBF today pork pie.  I think that will need to be dinner tonight with salad.  We also have a couple of pork chops that are BBF today but they can go in the freezer.

I made banana loaf last night too (got a load of free bananas a while back from Olio - the ones that get left at the bottom of boxes etc - I need them virtually green to eat but they were perfectly fine for freezing and baking with). Since we're getting into autumn I added some spices to this one - cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and a pinch of allspice (as I seem to have no mixed spice) - there's no such thing as over spicing IMO  :)

Not sure about dinner tonight - will have to see what OH fancies.

I'm making a fish pie - chunks of salmon and broccoli in a cheese sauce and topped with a bit of mashed potato.

I have some Bramley apples to use up, so those will be for pud. Probably crumble.

You could try this - highly recommended and handy if you need something gluten free.

Thank you @Brie - that’s really thoughtful of you. It sounds delicious, so I will add it to my recipe file for next time (when I have ground almonds).

Roast tonight - chicken, potatoes, carrots, parsnips, stuffing and peas. Had run out of mustard so had a spoonful of mango chutney with it!
