Yesterday was Egg and Bacon Pilau (OH had bought some bacon from the butchers, so much nicer than SM stuff), tonight is HM bean burgers with sweet potato wedges and salad (one day I will have room in my freezer!)
May have fruit and icecream for pudding, see how I feel

I made fish and chips for DS and I (I had celeriac chips) as I wanted something that would tempt him to eat. He can taste OK but no sense of smell at all.

Made a cake for pudding-filled with cream and LC passion fruit curd and using coconut flour instead of normal flour.

Isolating side effect=lots of baking and Spring cleaning!

We went out for a coffee and had a fruit scone with jam and cream, so the planned hot dogs for lunch, turned into dinner instead.

@rachsecret glad that DS at least seems to be on the road to recovery.

Long day today, was up with the sparrows doing a car boot. Even though i was there for 7am I was one of the last to arrive. Will have to consider camping the night before next time   :D

Anyway, dinner was egg and soldiers followed by Eton Mess. Largely because that's what I fancied and I cba standing up any more and cooking.

edit : ended up with Ras el Hanout spice lamb steak with air fried courgette, peppers, mushrooms, red onion, and couple of ancient tomato’s - full as an egg…..

Shared a spinach and ricotta pizza with a size of halloumi fries from Sainsbury's shop today. Was nice and made a nice change.
Got a bit overkeen on the food shop today plus some olio bits and have had to play a definite case of freezer jenga. May not need to do a freezer shop until  xmas now  :D

I made a roast, beef for husband, vegetarian sausage for me. Roast potatoes,  Yorkshire pudding,  carrots, cabbage, green beans,  cauliflower and gravy. Made a crumble for afters.  I enjoyed it today. Perhaps  because we have had a lot of salad this past week.

@JIL i was thinking of crumble making too, I have a lot of apples chopped up in the freezer from free windfalls last autumn and they are on the list to use to make room in the freezer.
