Had penultimate vegan burger in a bun with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, gherkins, beetroot and wholegrain mustard with a side salad of radishes and baby carrots followed by y/s physalis and a cup of coffee.5

Fish, chips and peas with a slice of banana cake for pudding as I have some soft bananas to use up. Cup of black coffee to follow.3

Family over for the bank holiday weekend, tonight’s dinner will be HM korma, sweet potato and spinach for vegan son, chicken for us, HM onion bajji, samosas (not for me) coconut flour chapati strawberries and HM ice cream for anyone who wants it.Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

HM burgers and steak for those that do - bean burger and field mushroom with garlic ginger chilli dressing for Vegan (cooked separately) garlic king prawn and halloumi for pescatarian DD, various salads, jacket potatoes and corn on the cob vegan style for all 😁

Turkey slices with HM potato salad, coleslaw and the usual salad bits. We rarely have a pud but sometimes an ice cream or piece of fruit.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle3
