Ooh, that sounds delicious - thanks for sharing it goldfinches, I've just saved it to my recipe folder.
Tonight I am making Tom Kerridge's spicy Mexican bean burgers with salad and chips. Meringue topped with whipped cream, some sliced tinned pears and a drizzle of toffee sauce for pud.2 -
Savoury stuffed pancakes ( Quorn and sweetcorn in cheese sauce) with broccoli and carrots followed by a corner yoghurt.1

I have lentil and veg soup in the slow cooker, so I think we’ll have this with garlicky bread and maybe pancakes for a pud to fill the OH up 🤣1

The Meatless farm mince is awful. I’ve had the same experience. It made me realise I much prefer to use lentils instead of fake mince. More texture. 🙂kerri_gt said:
What veggie mince did you use before? I usually use dried soya, or quorn. Bought some Meatless Farm mince and really wasn't overly keen, it seemed to just suck up the liquid and end up more of a mush than anything else.arielgirl said:Saturday night we had more Chinese food, mainly dim sum.
Sunday lemon sole, rice and veg
Tonight pasta-OH bolognaise has mince meat and mine has veggie meatballs. I'm not vegetarian but happy to try a like for like meal if that makes sense. Will let him taste mine and if he likes it then I can do veggie for us both next time. For example, he quite enjoyed veggie mince last time commented he couldn't tell the difference. Cream cakes for after.1 -
That shredded beef looks gorgeous @Frith. Tonight dinner for us is an all day breakfast.2

I have 2 meals out of the freezer to choose from today - bratwurst and pasties.
Last night I made a cake while doing dinner. I found that I was out of green food colouring so instead of a mint/chocolate marble cake - I did chocolate/vanilla.
