We had savoury pancakes, I had mine topped with roasted vegetables and mozzarella. Husband and daughter had a stew on theirs made with quorn mince.

  • We had chicken, ham and tarragon pie made with a low carb pastry crust. And of course the obligatory pancakes; I made a LC blueberry and lemon almond flour version and served it with no sugar maple syrup and whipped cream. I think we should have pancake day every week.

Saturday night we had more Chinese food, mainly dim sum.
Sunday lemon sole, rice and veg
Tonight pasta-OH bolognaise has mince meat and mine has veggie meatballs. I'm not vegetarian but happy to try a like for like meal if that makes sense. Will let him taste mine and if he likes it then I can do veggie for us both next time. For example, he quite enjoyed veggie mince last time commented he couldn't tell the difference. Cream cakes for after.
What veggie mince did you use before? I usually use dried soya, or quorn. Bought some Meatless Farm mince and really wasn't overly keen, it seemed to just suck up the liquid and end up more of a mush than anything else.
I believe it was one from Iceland. Only one I've tried, perhaps are better options around?
Last night we had udon noodles, pork stir fry with various veg and a Korean Chilli sachet.

  • Breaded fish, new potatoes, peas, oven tomatoes, tartare sauce and slices of lemon and fresh frut salad and Greek yoghurt for dessert.
  • Last night we had the leftover gammon roast from Sunday followed by obligatory pancakes. Tonight - I have no idea as yet! Probably something from the freezer.

Thank you, will keep an eye out next time I'm in there.
Not been feeling that great for the past couple of days so haven't really bothered with dinners. Should really try and eat something tonight.
